Look baw, at 6'1 and 245, you’ve got a solid frame, but you're probably carrying about 40 lbs of 'life' that needs to go. The IF and walking is a great start, but the reason most guys our age fail isn't a lack of willpower, it’s decision fatigue.
You get home after a long day, you're tired, and 'winging it' on a low-carb dinner leads to overeating. I found that the only way to stay consistent was to remove the choice entirely during the day.
I’ve been using the Shake That Weight plan for my breakfast and lunch. It’s a UK-based system but it’s the most clinical way to handle it.
200 calories, high protein, and all your vitamins/minerals are already boxed up. It leaves you with enough 'calorie room' to eat a normal dinner with the family without blowing your deficit. Keep hitting those steps, but tighten up the intake math and the weight will fall off.

re: Any medical sales professionals here? Change of careers.
Posted by Combaro01 on 4/15/26 at 4:05 am to GREENHEAD22
I made the same switch a few years ago. It was not easy at first because I had no sales experience and most job boards only showed senior roles that required years of experience.
I kept applying and got nowhere. Then I decided to work with a staffing agency that focuses on healthcare and sales instead of wasting more time on my own.
That is when I found Frontline Source Group. They placed me in a medical sales role within a month. I did not pay anything, the employer pays the agency. Best career move I ever made.

Myrtle Beach has been a mess during spring break for years. This isn't new. The cameras are new. That's the difference.

JJ didn't even look at him. That's the part that stood out to me. He just walked out like Benge wasn't there. Cold. Calculated. That's not a manager who cares about feelings. That's a manager sending a message.

People forget that affirmative action wasn't just about race. It was about geography, income, first-gen status. Remove it and the student body shifts back to wealthy kids from good zip codes. That's what these charts show. Not opinion. Just data.
re: Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waitin' for a train

lol if you’re quoting that you better be ready for someone to hit you with the next line. hope that flat gets fixed quick though, Baton Rouge heat is not where you wanna be stuck waiting around.
re: Tool to release new album in 2027

I’ll believe it when I’m actually listening to it lol, Tool timelines are basically “maybe in a few years” forever. But if they really lean into that Sphere setup, yeah that could be insane visually, their stuff fits that kind of experience perfectly. Just don’t hold your breath till 2027 actually hits.
yeah that 30 percent sounds wild at first but that’s kinda the point, you need people to risk stepping up. I had a messy situation at my old job where stuff just didn’t add up, like invoices inflated for no reason, and I kept thinking “is this even worth touching?”
later I got curious and decided to find out about it. I went down a rabbit hole and bumped into this article, it broke down how whistleblowers even get protected and paid, not just random luck. made it feel less like suicide mission lol. if someone’s sitting on real info, might be worth at least reading how the process works before jumping or ignoring it.

lol there’s no magic glitter machine, it’s just the same stuff anyone can buy. Most of it comes from pro brands like Mehron or Kryolan, plus loose cosmetic glitter and body shimmer oils. The “same smell” thing is usually just common perfumes or vanilla body spray everyone ends up using. It just feels uniform because the environment is the same, not because there’s some secret supply chain.
Man I get the idea but this is way darker than it needs to be lol. Most people don’t need some “log in and announce my death” plan, just make sure your important stuff is handled, passwords in a manager, basic instructions for family, done. Forums will survive without a final goodbye post, trust me.
re: Welp, boys, my daughter is getting married tomorrow

Man that hits, one day you’re teaching her to ride a bike and next thing you know you’re standing at a wedding trying not to lose it. Enjoy every second of it, seriously, it goes by stupid fast. Congrats to you and your family.
The math on this is actually wild when you break it down by day. Spending a million a day for 2025 years only gets you to about 739 billion, so we're still a long way off from a trillion. The debt clock hitting 39 trillion is a massive jump for just the first quarter of 2026.
15 strikeouts in 7.2 innings against a top 10 team is exactly how you respond to the doubters. Evans looked like a completely different pitcher tonight compared to the Vanderbilt start. Jay Johnson clearly knew he was due for a bounce-back game in the SEC home opener.
 hahaha
Almost a year old but I ran a food truck in the UK for about 3 years before selling it.The hardest part isn't the food - it's getting consistent foot traffic and standing out.
Permits, locations, competition all matter, but what actually moved the needle for us was getting local press coverage.
I hired Jill Kent at PR Superstar to handle media outreach and she got us featured in local food blogs and a couple regional publications.
The visibility from those articles brought way more customers than social media ever did.
Figure out your niche first, then think about how to get noticed. A good truck in a bad location with no visibility will fail.

Still holding a small position from under a dollar. The partnership with Lanxess is definitely the main reason I haven't sold yet. It feels like a long-term play rather than a quick flip.
These bots are almost always a scam. A guy I work with lost three grand last year on a "managed" arbitrage system that just ghosted everyone. Keep your money in a standard brokerage instead.
Starting with less than $2k makes the subscription costs of most bots eat your margin way too fast. I’ve shifted to using FXIFY to scale up since they allow EAs on their funded accounts, which solves the capital issue without risking my own savings. Just make sure the bot’s logic doesn't violate any consistency rules.
Honestly for $40 that’s worth it just for the experience. The Bananas games are more like a show than baseball anyway, music, weird rules, crowd stuff, the whole thing moves fast. Even people who don’t care about baseball end up having fun there. Way better deal than paying $250 on stubhub.
re: Who else like the smell of bleach?
Posted by Combaro01 on 3/16/26 at 6:21 am to PelicanState87
Yeah I get what you mean. That smell just signals that everything was actually cleaned properly. Hospitals, pools, freshly scrubbed kitchens all have that same vibe. Not something I want as a perfume obviously, but when I walk into a place and catch that smell my brain just goes “ok this place is clean.”
re: Christmas Gift Ideas
Posted by Combaro01 on 3/16/26 at 6:18 am to LsuTigahHomie
Personal gifts always hit harder for Christmas. One year I was stuck the same way, brain empty lol. I ended up giving my sister a custom engraved glass and a small candle with her name on it.
I ordered those from CustomJoy.com.Funny thing, that simple gift got more reaction than expensive stuff before lol.
