Travis Matt is coming in from NOLA to play.
Why is is that this guy plays at damn near every road game party for LSU. Went to Seattle last year, and guess who played. Couldn't they get someone different?

agree
Great talent at The Cheetah, but too stuffy. Too much attitude and pretentiousness. Great for
pro athletes and elite businessmen type with fat bankrolls to blow (where your dancing/ entertainment pleasure related expense is of no concern. Reminds me of mafia pressuring you for tips and service constantly...
The Pink Pony--
More relaxed environment, better suited to a party-like atmosphere (conducive to typical bachelor party antics!)

bump, any more suggestions on good places to eat, we're going down on thursday
definitely. if you want vintage Atlanta I'd suggest the Varsity. The Vortex is a pretty awesome bar/grill. Theres one in Little 5 and another on Peachtree I believe in midtown.
If you want nice dining Id suggest the Sundial. Its a restaurant on top of the Westin that spins around

This is what the LSU Alumni Assosciation here in Atlanta told us at our Crawfish Boil last month...they were trying to get 5 or 6 bands to play on both levels of the Tabernacle which is located right on Centennial Park. Awesome Venue if you've never been.

Not a bad environment for game day. Centennial Olympic Park is right in the heart of downtown across the street from the CNN Center, GA Dome and the Congress Center (their convention center). The CNN center has a foodcourt and several restuarants. Most of the vendors at the food court sell ice cold $5 tall boys on gameday. There are usually people hanging out around the park on gameday and down below the CNN center area on street level next to the DOME is RV parking and a lot of Tiger tailgating. Usually plenty of bands and music. Parking in the area around $20. Stay off Marta if you can, it's pretty trashy, especially at night. The Tabernacle is an old church which was turned into a music venue and it's right on the edge of the Park.

Buckhead isn't what it used to be. There were lots of changes even last time I was in Hotlanta and that's the last time we played in the SECCG (or maybe the Chicken Bowl).
