I don't really follow baseball very often. Is it really that big of a deal to throw 12 pitches? Why are the announcers so concerned?

It's not just the 12 pitches. There's a lot of preperation to warm up, then a 45 minute delay between games can mess you up too.

Question. If the field was dry, does the 3rd base coach send Moore and does he still make it? Looked like the ball kind of thumped on the field slowing it down and it looked like the coach expected it.

weather.com shows no big chance of rain until the 3-4 PM time frame. Hope we can get the whole game in before.

gausman is probably the only pitcher on the staff that could go 120+ pitches and still be strong. dude is a work horse. if anyone can come out for an inning, have an hour delay, and pitch the next game its probably him.

Javi would've waved him anyway.

Yeah, but at this point they just need to keep him warm, have him ride the bike, and stretch. If he had thrown 30 pitches or so, it would be a different story.

That was some really bad TV directing. I didn't see the winning run, did you?

Yep, we all missed Katz' unnecessary slide! Nice, dirty uniform, too bad he's got to changes now.

What color unis for the next game?

The windmill was sending him no matter where that ball was hit

You must not be from South Louisiana if you have to ask this question...... It's NEVER too early to start drinking on gameday!
