the shakers were great on tv and they actually make the stadium look and SOUND better for a day game - they helped fire up the crowd early for a game against a lesser opponent. Auburn and Alabama seem like the 2 stadiums with the most atmosphere and loudness along with LSU and the shakers are a big part of that. And the reason they dont do the yellow/purple combo shaker is that it looks grayish on tv

Plural - pom poms. There doesn't need to be an apostrophe at the end of a word that ends in s.

It looked great on TV yesterday and the stadium was great looking, especially the overhead shots.

I took the two from my seat in the student section, asked the guy next to me to save my seat, walked up the stairs, broke the damn things in two and threw them out before returning to my seat. Pom Poms are almost as gay as the wave. Stand up, yell, and clap.

Entire student section is a huge stretch. I would never sport those things. Death valley is known for being loud and those things dont make noise
