I’m still pissed at him for the Houston super regional.

He killed my interest.

Most people saw the light when we hosted SB. That’s when it hit me.

Our OF was the least talented defensively I've ever seen. SB balls are still hitting gaps....

It was that and the pitching decisions for me. Starting Gaussman to end the game… wait and then have him start the next. Talk about setting him up for failure.

State
Vandy
Florida
Arky
Tenn

Then you maybe get to LSU. Hell, you could easily put USCe up there.

Nah, def ready for Johnson. The program has needed a refresh for awhile now. I’m tired of hearing and seeing all over about being a “Vandy commit”. That needs to change asap to being an LSU commit.

I wish him the best in his life, but I’m glad he is out of mine.

That didn’t cost us. Neither was it the slower outfield that cost us vs Stony Brook.

It was his offensive philosophy of swing at every first pitch, hit and run, swing now, swing now, SWING NOW! Even though we were facing a completely taxed pitching staff that we already worn thin before they got to us.

Between Paul's health, losing his dad, and probably several more issues, Maineri seemed distracted and on "cruise control" for several years.

Paul seems like a good man, and I wish him well in retirement, but it was past time for him to go. I look forward to seeing what Jay Johnson can do. I like the excitement Johnson has brought back to a program that IMO, had become stale and dated.

I hope so too. But some of the comments are really out of line. But that is the way these talk programs go. Really embarrassing what people will say. And of course this will set a lot of them off. Sad.

Gausman gave up like 2 runs when it was raining one inning while he pitched. We scored 1 run they game. Gausman pitched fine. (Both the backend of game 1 and game 2)

It rained every time Gausman took the mound and stopped raining every time Stony Brook took the mound that game. Pissed me off. The only runs Gausman gave up were in a downpour. LSU lost 3-1.
