The point of your post got lost due to the last statement, but everything above it is absolutely true...
Cowan's stuff is not good enough to pitch above the belt, teams will continue to sit on the changeup now. I still believe his stuff will fair well against lefties with the change diving off the plate and away from them.. The problem is that he needs something that cuts in or away from right handers to get them off the plate and you don't just develop a pitch during the middle of the season. That changeup against righties is just a gutted fast ball right now

Probably did and didn’t have to throw anything besides a fastball except to 1 guy in the lineup every day. Big difference from not being able to just blow it by everyone.. Even kids at Dartmouth can turn on 95 in D1
Not taking away from offensive struggles, but the day games are brutal with the sunlight/shadow from the mound to the plate.
If I go fungo you some balls right now, that opinion would change very quickly. The amount of ground you have to cover is insane.
3rd baseman may be about 5 feet tall :lol:
Evans gotta figure it out.. Regardless of contact, you gotta own Dartmouth.
