Didn't he make a billion on the Bitkern?

Thank him for his service but it was past time for a change.

LSU fell from the top tier of SECBB teams to the next tier. Should never happen with this program.

Indeed because that Marinara guy didn't do shite for LSU. His name needs to be erased from all mention of LSU baseball because of the dishonor he brought to the program. He didn't ever represent LSU in a positive way. Every thing he ever did was a joke.

We need to totally purge him from the history of LSU. We need to start a thread shitting on him at least once a week to atone for the lasting damage he did to the name of LSU.

If only he had contributed as much as WE have to LSU baseball we might forgive him for hurting our feelings, but he didn't so frick him! Time to shite all over him.

Amirite gurls?
What in the frick are you blabbering on about? That isn't at all what I said

I would exchange the Webels for UThug, but I agree with the premise.

Program has been in decline for several years. Will take CJJ some time to rebuild.

Maybe his last game, but not every game for 16 years. There’s one thing having your young sons in the dugout, but when they’re 5-10 years older than the players…nah.

Thank you

Doug out? Thats a new one for me.

The emotional part of PM went at the end of last season. Ive turned the page.
Looking forward to better and more patient at bats. And in the future some better and more talented pitching

Thanks for posting, I wasn’t sure if anyone knew him IRL
I thought the lady that adopted from Russia that he helped out would but she asked about him several months ago on PT

I like Paul. I think Paul is a great coach and a great man. It was time for a change and I’m ecstatic to watch the transition but a whole shite ton of these comments come across as entitled and ungrateful.

You only have a couple of men who could’ve, maybe, done a better job than Paul during his tenure. I’m happy to have had the man representing the university and I’m glad that he’s sticking around.

Paul's health prevented him from coaching at a high level.

I appreciate much of what Pau did with the program after Smoke almost killed it. But please don't believe that Paul retired voluntarily.

Scott Woodward hastened the retirement while allowing Paul to keep his dignity by having a Retirement Press Conference. But if you know Paul at all, you could read him like a book at that presser. He was not there at his own desire but instead had to reconcile a "retirement" status instead of fired. Several long time boosters presented our cases to Scott in that this was not "up to the LSU standard". And as much as Skip wanted Paul to succeed, especially since he hired him, in Skip's words,"geszz!
Thanks for the highlights in your tenure Paul, but now its time to get back to competing for CWS championships every year> Welcome Jay!
