He recognized what was coming with a Landry BOS, so he fled.
That is incorrect. He was an appointed position and Landry forced him out ie fired him. You need to stay in your lane with contracts and political positions.
quote:OR they got their asses whipped and embarrassed for the second year in a row by the team from the school he just left and it didn’t sit well with him. Then when Kelly wanted Davis gone, it didn’t sit well with Scott. That had been the case the year before. Same shite.
He somehow figured that by canning BK, he could insulate himself, with being in charge of the next coaching hire. Landry blew plan that up at a presser
I’ve been a Republican before your daddy was in nutville. Landry is a stupid USL swamp rat that is a fricking idiot that caused a MAJOR EMBARRASSMENT to LSU.
Verge and his demoncrat arse was appointed. That is a political move because of his wife’s family. NO OTHER REASON

Saw Woodward in Perkins Rowe new years eve. He lost a LOT of weight. By golly that man is also VERY short.

You need to quit digging the hole you are in, sport

The LSU Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a three-year contract extension and a $25,000 raise for LSU System President William Tate. - June 28, 2024
quote:
In an email to students on September 17, 2024, Holloway announced his resignation as Rutgers University president, and that he would not seek a contract extension.
Landry was sworn in Jan. 7, 2024. The BOS gave Tate 3 more years. Yet he applied for Rutgers 2 months into his new 3 year contract, under Landry. No one fired him. He knew what was coming
Lulz
So much for your contract/ political knowledge

Verge got the interim tag removed the minute the deal with Kiffin was sealed. I was in the room. Quit trying to fill in the gaps, that you have no knowledge of
This whole deal happened because Landry wanted changes top down at LSU. And look where we are due to it

Again, being forced out is exactly what Landry did to Tate. He knew he was going to get replaced so he left. He was forced out is no different from being fired.
Tate’s leadership was exactly what LSU needed when he was hired.

Verge needed to be FIRED after the Title IX shite.

Thats exactly what I said, and you told me I was wrong

Right. Lowering standards to the point hoodrats are shooting up the place on gameday is exactly what was needed

And yet he wasnt. Which had ZERO to do with Landry. JBE was guv, and F King and Tate were in charge of LSU. Total DIM mess.
But he delivered Kiffin, when Fat Scott wouldnt even grant him an interview
