There is a natural symbiosis between our two schools because of Joe Burrow. Welcome aboard. F Michigan.

Thank you for all the responses - it’s pretty much the same as every other interaction I’ve had with Tiger fans in the past - even staying in the team hotel for the 2007 Sugar Bowl - Tiger fans were by in large classy and lots of great friendly families
I had a couple classes with Bo back in college... he was more quiet - Vrabel is the one who had the legendary tales in college :)

Ironically I think there is some Mississippi State history in Burrow's family as well....

You've come to the right place...hang on to your hat. By the way, I'm in Nashville. Give me a Vrabel story...

If that happens one day, I imagine based on the track record we'll manage as we have since the day Paul Brown left for the NFL.
And by the way, regarding Pelini, if you actually knew him as I do from high school days, and his niece and nephew as well, then you would know that, although he might be a very good DC, he's a royal, A-class jerk.

You're kidding
. Would never have guessed it from his tender personality on the sidelines.

What a maricòn you are.
You don’t leave your team EVER. The players and coaches want to play. Those are the people for whom you cheer every Saturday in the fall. They have done nothing wrong.
Do you wear a hat with a maize “M” on it when hanging with friends family from “up North”? Hell no.
What happened...did Woody punch you like he did the Clemson player? Quit being a little bitch.
Stick with your team. LSU doesn’t want a traitor...even if your team sucks. Show a little pride and dignity.

So is Nick Saban, but we didn’t care when he was here and I guarantee you they don’t care in Tuscaloosa.
Spurrier was the worst, but you didn’t hear UF complaining when they were kicking arse with him.
Bottom line: if you can coach, you’ve earned the right to be a jerk.

Why do you care so much?

Welcome to the Tiger family. I grew up in MO as an Ohio State fan (Mizzou sucked back then, too), and I remember reading Woody Hayes and the 100-yard War a year or two after it came out. (I was probably 11 or 12). I vividly remember two things from the book: the story about the assistant driving them back from a recruiting trip in Michigan, and after the second or third time of suggesting to Woody that they stop to fill up because was the needle was approaching E, Woody screamed that he wouldn't "contribute a plug nickel to the Michigan state economy. We will stop for gas when we get to Ohio." I believe it said they made it into Ohio by the length of a first down.
Also, one day Woody was at home and looked out into his driveway and saw four cars, all belonging to different family members. He abruptly decided that his family would be not responsible for contributing that much pollution to the environment (I guess he was an early climate change proponent) and took his down to the used car lot and sold it on the spot.
I was a QB in Jr High and High school and wore #10 because Art Schlichter was my idol. Pretty sad as it turned out. Only a few years later did I end up going to LSU and, of course, changed my allegiance. I attended the 10-10 game in '87 or whenever it was.

Congrats to you becoming a new LSU fan and on your daughters golf success. Top 25 in Worlds is incredible. My son is just about to start getting competitive and his dream is to go to Pinehurst. Maybe we will see you there one day!

Was responding to the Buckeye traitor. The going gets tough and he bolts. Good riddance. He's an embarrassment to Buckeye Nation.
He said Pelini is "quiet." That's bullshite. I know Pelini personally. If there's one thing he isn't, is "quiet."

Welcome! Great post! As much as we’ve joked about this, I feel really bad for diehard fans that don’t have a team playing.
I know the media will do everything in their power to shut all football down this year. Stay strong SEC!
