The last paragraph just about contradicts the point he is trying to make.

Lee did not such a good first half, just go look at first quarter. Miles made the right decision as seen by the outcome.

Doc, I agree with your post completely.

As long as LSU is winning, it's not gonna matter. My fear is if and when LSU loses, especially if JJ has a poor performance. The LSU fanbase will melt down like never before.

It's good to know other people whom youve never met share similar opinions on the same topic.

I agree. I don't understand this at all. From hearing it from an un biased commentator in Herbstreit, he doesn't get it either. The players can be "cool" with it all they want, fact is that it does impact and disrupt the "rhythm" or the "sync" any way you slice it. Our passing game needs to develop a lot more before we head into the 'Bama game. Now I'm all for Lee, he has played the best, by far in my opinion and that's a tough fact to debate. But for the improvement of the team, to develop our passing game, you gotta pick one. JJ or Lee, make your pick. The rotation is going to screw things up.
I agree with you about the rotation screwing things up. But this situation is a little different in that miles always wanted jj the starter (and he was), and invested ALOT of time and resources on it. It's just an unfortunate situation.

I do think we try too hard to get JJ involved. We're forcing it, and thus disrupting the flow of the offense.

Things just don't feel the same since the first 4 games. That's my take anyway.

O RLY? 38-7 says otherwise.

To be honest I think that for the most part we were just toying with Tennessee. Giving JJ reps is important because he may be needed down the line. He missed a substantial chunk of time so these reps are helpful.

I've heard the same thing from several people. They feel that Lee has not been the same since the UK game and that the offense has stalled more often when Jefferson is in.

I don't like it and I believe that eventually it will come back to bite us in the arse. However, there isn't a damn thing any of us can do about it.

GG is right here...

Can any of you name a team that has won a national title with a 2 QB system? I can't

And don't throw the Leak/Tebow or Flynn/RP situations out there. Tebow and RP came in for a play here or a play there..they didn't get WHOLE series.

I think Miles is making a huge mistake doing this. Just my opinion.

It's definitely weird. I'm tired of talking about it, and have accepted the fact that Miles really, really wants to use JJ a lot. It might work; it might backfire.

I personally don't like it, but (A) there's not much to talk about anymore that hasn't already been talked about, and (B) it's nowhere near as bad as what Miles did to the team in 2009 & 2010, so I'm a relatively happy camper.

Doc Fenton with the post of the year!!!!

Some just have to learn how to deal with it and move on. We might not like some decisions; however, we support our boys.

When your team has a legitimate shot to win the big trophy, most coaches want to perfect the execution of what they will need to win.

We will not win out without being able to throw the ball. Lee has played very well this year and clearly the best option as a passer.

Without considering the possible psychological effects of JJ playing more and more, Lee's reps in practice and in games are being reduced by this strategy.

Miles is the head coach, and one that I like a lot, but I think is unreasonable to think that no one should question what he is doing regarding the QB position.

Im glad the coach of the number one team in the nation doesn't listen to the whiny, miserable portion of the fan base.

Did anyone else notice the end of the game CBS zoomed in on JJ on the sidelines bitching about something, MFing this, Fing that?

Could you name a team that lost there last 3 regular season NFL games and went on to win the Super Bowl before the Saints did it?? Nope. People forget that there is a first time for everything.

Bottom line is the offense looked poor in the first half. Second half JJ provided a spark and we win 38-7.

Where am I whining? I said I disagreed with the decision, but that's hardly whining.

Come on, Dean. I love ya...but having a QB in there that can't provide any kind of a threat passing doesn't really provide a spark. Our physically dominant O-Line and the fact we wore them down was the reason we dominated the second half. It had ZERO to do with the play at the QB position.
