I've never understood the hatred for Saban. He took use from mediocrity to the mountaintop. He's done the same for Bama. The guy is a phenomenal college coach and I'd take him back in a heartbeat.
It's not as if he left us for Bama. He went to the NFL, and when that didn't work, he went back to college, and the Bama job was the best one that was available.
No need to hate on the guy. Or maybe it's the green-eyed monster causing all of this, because they've won 3 of the last 4 NCs.

you should rephrase that to "had satan not fallen in love with the thought of coaching at the nfl level". his last year here he was not a great coach or a great recruiter. he was over ambitious.
