Jarrett Lee was actually playing well until Jefferson returned
And how long did it take to insert Jefferson into games?
And once Lee finally threw an interception, how long until Jefferson was made the starter?
And once Jefferson became the starter, how many snaps did Lee get at qb?
So once again, Miles sucks at identifying a quarterback.
This is by far one of the biggest coaching fails of all-time... I'm still baffled at the level of stupidity that less miles showed doing this... I honestly think he is mentally handicapped and should have been fired for incompetence when this was going on..

I was thinking the same thing yesterday when the stuff started to leak about Chavis . If it's true the clause about Miles' tenure was a sticking point for Chavis and the administration felt strongly enough about that they wouldn't budge is an indication that the dynamic in that building has changed.
Pay close attention to who they hire and the details of that contract.
No coach wants to be part of a sinking ship.
The powers that be seem to be sending a message that that aren't going to pay top dollar for a shite show anymore.

Hannagriff made a rather stunning comment today.
Go back and look at LSU's defensive end of year rankings since Chavis arrived and then compare the offensive rankings. Basing his whole career on that bowl game is nuts. This year, LSU ranked 88th in offense, 11th defense.
And he is pissed that cam and himself are making the same $$$
I'd be pissed too

Mr, from what I've read of your posts today I believe that you have an ear from inside. That said, I believe this is the fire being turned up on Miles and the comfort zone he has operated in.

After watching Miss State get skull drug up and down the field, it appears our defense made them. I'm ready for a clean sweep and new approach in tigertown.

Roger, did you watch the wide tape of any of the games and can tell me the receivers were running the correct routes, making the necessary adjustments? If not, then I really don't think you're qualified to pass judgement on the quarterback play. It's a lot more complicated than just following the ball on TV.
As far as the folks who don't think we should ever show regression, you're delusional. When you lose 4 guys on offense that we did and then expect similiar results you're not only delusional, but downright loony. If we get the same result next year, then gripe.
Can any of you say we didn't inprove from game 1 to the end of the season, I'd so you're crazy. If we play state after the florida game and before bama....we win.

One Bowl game does not indicate what Chavis has meant to LSU. Think Malaveto for a second.
The title says because of Chavis leaving he's concerned for the program. Can you read bro. Our QB situation isn't permanent period. Either a juco will be brought in or harris will step up and man up. Jennings I agree is not the answer period but to say the program is in trouble is retarded to say the least. LSU as a football program is above a coach or bad qb or a overrated DC. Face that please. We are LSU not Miles U nor Jennings U. And if you think Chavis's faults are limited to yesterday then you truly are an idiot.

I've seen enough to realize the QB play has been very poor. I'm really not sure how anyone could possibly argue with that.

Anyone without concerns about the program is truly in denial. I do not think the direction from Alleva and Miles can turn things around quickly.
Programs are cyclical and unfortunately, our programs is trending down.

I agree this program is on a downward slide with no end in sight. Bring back Mark Emmert to do whatever it takes to fix this.

I really respect you as a poster, but you really need to look deeper to figure out if your diagnosis is correct. Yes, the qb play has been below par (no pun intended), but it takes more than 1 guy to make an offense go. Having all these young guys and an inexperienced qb is a recipe for disaster.

The difference between JJ/JL and AJ/BH is that when Lee played bad, Miles yanked his arse. That didn't happen with AJ this year.
JL would be a better comparison with AJ as he is the more cerebral and less athletic QB. JJ and BH compare as they are both strong armed and better runners. Also Miles did yank Lee when he was incapable against Bama while he has stuck with AJ this year so I don't get your comparison on any level.

Beginning to think that has now become the case. You have to get up very early to beat Saban. If it comes down to "mental" things, it's not even a contest. Nick wins in a landslide.
frick no.
Chavis cost us 2012 and 2014 with his late game prevent shite.
Glad he's gone.

I understand the passing game is dysfunctional, but i'm watching an experienced QB overthrow targets 20 feet away on a regular basis.
