Hopefull, Harris is less strong with his short passes..

Won't matter much unless Harris improves his accuracy.
He was pretty accurate before his injury. He shows touch and accuracy on the difficult throws down field. He seems to overthrow the easier, shorter ones. He's probably aiming the ball on those rather than just throwing it.
I'd say being wiser will help him there

I agree with everything you said, but I think a priority especially early on in the season, is to get Harris out of his comfort zone. It seemed like last season the coaches kept Harris comfortable and didn't ask too much from him. Going into the Bama game I think he had something like 9 TD's and zero INT's. When he came out in the 2nd half and threw an early pick (first of the season) he didn't know how to respond because he simply hadn't been put in that situation yet. He needs to be taken out of that comfort zone early and learn how to shake off adversity before we get to the meat of our schedule.

A) There is only speculation as to when his injury occurred.
B) He wasn't accurate before Alabama. He was poor throughout the season.
C) I don't see how being "wiser" helps accuracy. If he was making risky passes or holding the ball too long sure, but he is simply missing guys.

Can't wait for him to have a mediocre season and wash rinse and repeat this thread next spring.

LSU fans are great aren't they?

Not really. It was literally reported on as a fact that he was injured in the Bama game from multiple sources. There may be speculation when he first suffered the injury, but we know when it was diagnosed.

I can't comprehend what I posted for you. I already stated it clearly.

A) I thought there was a statement it happened during Bama game.
B) %wise he had one bad outing vs EMU and avg vs Syr. Growing pains followed by good performances vs USCe, UF, and WKU.
C) As with most QBs, the game should slow down with more experience. Don't concede the season before first snap.

Harris said he wasn't sure when it first occured, but had been nagging him for a long time.
The advocate and Nola.com both reported it occured in the Bama game (and more specifics), but this guy has better sources.
He thinks Jennings was a better QB. He's not the brightest crayon.

yea, the "youth" and "hernia" excuses will eventually run out of steam, but then it'll be that our offense is so complex that it can only be mastered by a 4th or 5th year QB.
Look, I want Harris to play well and I hope he improves. I really do because I want us to have a shot at the playoffs, but I guess I'm just more of a realist, based on what I see with my own two eyes. I love my Tigers, but I'll never be mistaken for a homer, that's for sure.

Yea, that's all a hernia injury is, an excuse. He had surgery for shits and grins. Players never improve either

he was coming along nicely last year until his injury. and Bama stopping the run and our offense couldn't handle it.
we have got to learn how to handle that. and we've got to not give up if we lose a game to bama.

If it was all about being a realist and chest thumping "I told ya so" internet fame, I wouldn't invest.

Well, when you hold the ball for 45 minutes because each receiver is running a 75 yard route there tends to be issues with protection
Our supposed nfl tackles couldn't block 2 star defensive ends in the spread game against arkansas

Ummmmm You follow him on snapchat??? Sounds kinda weird that your questioning his being wise since you follow him?

If we can get some balance though with quick throws beating the pash rush these lines that have "manhandled" us will start to show fatigue and our o line will be more than sufficient even throughout these games

none of our defensive ends that played a significant number of snaps against y'all were 2 stars

I'm concerned there will be a lot stat padding with LF to get him the Heisman
me too. the thing about it is that LF will get more yds over the season if we develop the pass game. that development needs to start game one and continue until it gets good. I think Miles mentality is to game plan to win the game. period. well, against the cupcakes that means handing off to #7 all the time when he should add passing game "practice" into the game plan even if we don't need it to win.
