That high fly ball he served up which tied the game in the eleventh scared the be-HAY-sus out of me. Curiel was a savior at that point in time-- terrific catch!

Yep. More reason he deserves the props. It’s easy for us to criticize a bad outing. But something like this needs to be noted. I don’t know if he’s ever had an outing go over five innings.
Such a great game. Definitely one we won’t forget. Guidry kept us in it long enough for that spark to ignite

As long as guidry keeps the slider down he’s effective. Bottom 3rd of the zone it really gets some bite. Middle middle makes us hold our breath.
