For a highly touted freshman he's about what you'd expect....inconsistent. Shows flashes of brilliance along with flashes of mistakes. Some of his throws were way off target. He tends to overthrow high. When you can overthrow a 6'3 target, man you're putting it in the sky. Lafell wasn't at his best last night so that hurt too. Byrd's deep ball was broken up when defender pulled his arm....not a drop...just a good defended play. If Lee continues to improve we should be fine at QB.

Russell Sheppard won't touch the QB position.

Yet our freshman QB was the one that won the game.
Think there were two QB's contributing for LSU. Those claiming Lee to be the future should back off a bit. Let's see how the season unfolds. He looks good at times, but with 3 starts under his belt still is a turnover factory. Should have had two ints. There should be steady improvement the rest of the season.

Hmmmmm...that's what Saban tried to convice Vince Young of when he recruited him. Said he needed to play WR. Let's not make the same mistake here.

What, Hatch's handoffs and that throw to Dickson anyone could have made?

He's an F'ing Freshman dipshit! If you can't see talent that is being developed by the best offensive mind in the country then you have no business talkin' about the subject.

Also, can't wait til RS throws his first interception. You gonna be around to throw him to the wolves, too? F'ing retard!!!

Lee may be the future, he has some major hitches to correct. Like throwing down the middle. If you are ready to crown him the future, you need to follow the sport a little more than one season. He has played better than I thought he would, with the exception of the propensity to throw right to the opposite jersey. It's not like he is playing behind a horrible O line either. Give it time.

Follow the sport for more than one season? Lmfao, you have to be kidding me, you're a moron. Give what time? I don't need to see anymore of Hatch to tell me he's the inferior quarterback.

Your debating skills are less than lowbrow fella. Juvenile at best.
If Lee doesn't correct his turnover problem, he will split time with RS, JJ or CG. I never mentioned Hatch. Lee has shown flashes, but with plenty of time to throw, still locks on and throws to the wrong jersey.

J. Lee made some good throws and some awful ones. Same thing he's done every game so far, and the same thing we should expect for the rest of this year. He will be inconsistent but good enough for us to win.
The D was outstanding last night.

Mmm, No. To say Jarret Lee isn't the best option for the QB position right now is idiotic.

The one major problem he has, is telegraphing the short pass to the outside. Doesn't fool anybody, and the play is dead from the start. Good on the passes down field; despite the interception.
