If Jefferson redshirts and Miles installs him as QB starter next season, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Mettenberger transfers.

Jefferson needs to go away--If Coach wants to let him back on team, that is up to him, but he becomes an instant benchwarmer. He is not fast, can't throw, and offers nothing, in my opinion, that can help this team. No redshirt either--We will have Mett for the next 2 years, and he certainly looks like he is ready. Thanks, Jordan for your minor contributions, but it is time to go.

I would rather have Shep running the wildcat!

i don't think JJ is a good enough runner for the wildcat to be used well

x2. Why use him when we could put Ware or Shep back there?

The only real advantage to having JJ on the team is that it might make other teams spend some practice time on the option just incase JJ were to get in the game.

Let the talk about JJ die. He is not smart enough or talented enough to play QB. If he did come back, he would be the 4th string QB not 1st or 2nd.

better yet, Ware AND Shep. a true wildcat, Ware as the QB, Shep as the sweep man.

Is it too late to redshirt ZM?

If JJ comes back, why not redshirt ZM if it's not too late and then we'll have him 3 years as starter...

Screw all the gimmick offenses, we have enough skill players to play over defenses now! No need to change.

I'd like to think he could help us as a running threat inside the 5-10, but that's the only time I'd want to see him. not on whole drives.

Didn't Lee throw 2 TD passes in the red zone last week? We are doing great in the red zone right now.

I don't understand why people seem to be so against having JJ back on the team.
Chickenshite fans worried about their boy being the starter.

that would be 2 wasted series a game. he isn't worth letting him shite on 2 series and steal carries away from the 2 headed monster of ware and ford.

So you think he'll be content to ride the pine for a year behind Jefferson and only have one year left to play?

If you believe this, you really are a dumbass.

Maybe JJ could come back to help with the kicking game!
