You mean the great Bob Stoops that only beat Utah St. by 7 at home? No thanks.

That's why I'm saying he can probably be had.. I think it's complacency, and he'll change venues soon.. You can't argue against a 117-28 record though..

I really do wonder if Muschamp would take the job. I feel like he wouldn't, but the offer would have to be intriguing.

I'm willing to see what happens this season but I'm getting pretty close to saying we oughta just throw and obscene sum of money at Will Muschamp and hope for the best.

Everyone may or may not agree with me, but that Choklahoma program is another "stale" program right now. They are not winning anything. Yup, they have had their share of injuries, but right now they are like us- they are not they top team in their own division and better get used to second-tier New Years bowl games for a while.

Stoops is simply going through the motions right now, just happy to get wins. Hmmmmmmmmm...sounds like some other coach I know, who funny enough used to coach in the same state with Stoops!!!

LSU would have a chance.. I wanted him at Auburn, but let's face it- nobody leaves Texas for Auburn..

Same goes for Les then. You can't argue with his record either.

Gruden Thats what I'm talking about! We need a coach that gets pissed and pumps the players up not a chicken shite conservative like Miles! There are a few others that would be great. Turbeville, Stoops, PELENI!!

Well, as an AD you have to wear his arse out until he calls the cops on you for harrassment. You have to make him tell you "no" and "never", then move on to the next person. IMO, that's what Mal "function" Moore did with $abear, and by golly it worked.

I don't think that Mack Brown is leaving UT for quite a few more years- he seems to still be having fun and enjoying the challenge of contending for a national title on a yearly basis. For that reason, I do think that if Muschamp were to leave Austin, it would have to be to a top-notch program where he is comfortable and could win right away.

Well, shite...if you're going to dream big, why stop at Gruden? If you have to offer him, you also have to offer Saban and Meyer and make them tell you no too. In fact, I'd say you'd have to offer them before Gruden. What indication has Gruden ever given that he would be interested in being a college coach, much less good at it?

Saban at Miami?? College ball fits some while the NFL doesn't... Gruden would be a beast in the SEC..

Huge difference in competition level of the SEC.

I remember hearing this about Urban Meyer. Remember a new coach is now recruiting SEC athletes, not the athletes he had before.

Yup, but the pro game is MUCH different than the college game, and it could be that a guy like Gruden would make a really great college coach for his fire and personality. Personally, I think Gruden would be fun to play for. He would tell you like it is and not beat around the bush. When the guy talks, people listen. He doesn't take BS from his players, never has and never would in another job either.

I think Gruden would be great at LSU, just my opinion though.

He coaches high school ball... That tells me he likes teaching ameatur athletes.
