I as you stated think you all should not PRAISE Les or Jalen before the correct course of action is close
But why the hell can't we praise Miles now? He is letting the process play out on a misdemeanor charge. He is not rushing to judgment. Miles is doing the right thing now.

Praise be to Miles. Right now.

If Mills is found guilty, as you so clearly believe, then praise be to Miles again. He let the process play out. He gave Mills the benefit of due process and the presumption of innocence.

Praise be to Miles. After the process plays out regardless of the result.

I'm done after this.

I understand yalls point that Les is waiting to judge when the courts do, I just think making a thread praising Les on his decision is premature

And back to my first point, "No shite" Jalen is happy he is playing even if he is guilty or not. Simple to understand.

I don't think that's what he means. Im sure this is a hard time for him. If he's innocent, like many of the witnesses that were present claim, then imagine how this is for him. His name is being dragged through the mud, and a man, his coach, and father figure, who is also very influential, has his back. THAT, is the point of this thread.

No. Les is LOVING his kids even when they do wrong.

He metes out appropriate punishment.... all the while loving the kid.

When the charge was above a misdemeanor, Mills was NOT allowed to have any part of team activities. Charge reduced....Mills welcomed back.

It is not that difficult. Mills COULD have pleaded guilty and be playing with this all behind him. Mills CHOSE to fight the charge. Even if convicted of this charge, there will be no further discipline from Miles.

Because no other fanbase is pathetic and trashy enough to troll a LSU message board

Except that it's not premature.

Miles is making the right decision. He's making the right decision right now. Praise and good tidings to Miles.

Even if Mills is found guilty of a misdemeanor, Miles is STILL making the right decision right now. Praise and good tidings to Miles.

I'm not done yet.

You're right, I understand that and I hope to believe like the rest of you that no one is a big enough POS including Mills to praise his coach for standing by his side if he is actually guilty.

But that's the problem. If he's found guilty in the future is irrelevant.

If your son came home from school and they wanted to suspend him because a girl said he hit her, and your son said "Dad, I promise I didn't hit that girl." Are you gonna ground him and take away his car, or are you gonna say "Look, my son says he didn't do this and unless you give me more than that I'm saying he didn't do it and I support him."

meh...not that big of a deal.

This. A simple battery charge can be enacted for almost anything. Throwing a water bottle at someone is simple battery, pushing them down to the ground, punching them once, etc...

Now if it was an aggravated assault charge then Mills would definitely be suspended. No reason to overact on simple battery, especially when the accused could very well be innocent.

Lets just say, one day some girl that is angry with you has a bruise on her arm and neck from moving into her house and she decides to go to the police and say that YOU, the person she is so angry with for what ever reason has done this, YOU put those marks on her. Guess what they coming pick you up buddy and now you have to prove your innocence!! Kinda sucks huh?
