I assumed it after Pitt knocked off WV, and Mizzou lost to Oklahoma. Then I saw it on TD.com on Sunday.

You guys can thank me on us making it to the NC. I told my dad that Pitt was going to upset WV and there was no way OU was losing. I knew we were in. Actually found out from LSUmom right on here.

I too was in Hotlanta for the SEC champ game. My brother and I went to the Alum hotel (Marriott?) and watched the WV game and OU game. Watching that game in that hotel bar and the buzz going around was awesome. When Pitt won, the place exploded!!

Anyways....pretty much figured it out when Pitt won. I found out for good somewhere along the way back home from Georgia. Basically, once we found out LSU was #2 in the AP, it was done. Didn't need to watch the BCS show after to figure we were in.

my friend I was riding with from Atlanta got a call from her boyfriend that was in tiger band adn told us that we were going. we were so excited. we had a feeling we were when we watched the games unfold at a bar in Atlanta.

That was all I needed to know. I broke out my Crown Royal and made a drink as the clock timed out. I knew there was no way in hell UGA or Va Tech would go ahead of us. OU was behind us as was USC (No championship game either)

I had been tracking what I called the likely and the unlikely all day (OU over Mizzou, and Pitt over WV). Once the OU score became final, and Pitt was still battling WV, it became as important as any LSU game. Once it was final and Pitt had defeated WV, I pretty much knew that we were in. The next day I woke up, checked LSUSports.net, saw the picture of the team jumping up, and that was it.
I also knew that we won the game right there, because I knew that somewhere out there, tOSU's coaching staff and players were NOT elated and excited as our players were, but, in fact were grumbling, "Oh, great. Another loaded SEC team waiting for a shot at our collective arse!"

Got back to the Westin after the SECCG and watched the WV-Pitt dame with some Tiger fans in the Bar and after the game watched sportscenter, We closed the bar down

wow...I did the same thing at the Hyatt in Atlanta....there was about 100-150 Tiger fans at the hotel bar screaming when Pitt won....Hanigriff was there saying we were in....then on Sportscenter Lee and Kirk both picked LSU vs Ohio St.....the place when ape shite....great memory
