It starts with what the Bama machine has perfected for years . Having “Angels”that give these top recruits the money .

Unfortunately it's going to take some time. If I'm not mistaken he's got a couple of jucos that aren't producing like expected. There's a lot of overreaction on this board.
LSU loses to a team that everyone thought that they'd lose to and everybody goes through the roof. They'll have to go back into juco to shore up the line.

Some perspective. LSU is likely to finish with 10 or 11 wins behind a historically good Alabama team. This is a an unexpectedly successful season. Beating Saban or bust as what defines a good year will not be a fun experience for most fans.

We have enough to say what we are trying won’t work. Study the playoff games of BAma that are most competitive and see what it takes to score.
My guess is we need to revamp the offense to a modern college offense like Bama did. Can O do that? He can try ; sticking with what he has will not get him to playoffs and past Bama with or without Saban.

For starters. Sullivan needs to retire, his methods are dated. Not sure about Joseph. Hire Hugh Freeze tomorrow, as OC and move SE to being the head of the shadow staff. If not him then hire Kendall Briles as OC.
