how do you think you feel after making a bad play and YOUR fans are booing you off the field
or how about this you make a good play score a TD and YOUR fans boo you.
It hurts the moral of the player, I don't think I can show you evidence that it negatively effects the team, but I doubt you could show me evidence it didn't effect him its just a difficult thing to argue.

If i sucked after four years and then ended up missing the first few games of my senior season due to legal issues i would understand and work harder to prove my value.

They didn't boo him off the field.
He stayed in and scored a touchdown for his team.

Good for him. I don't think he deserved to get that carry over Lee but whatever

It was a calculated move by Miles. One that Lee seemed cool with, based on his reception of JJ on the sidelines.

You can blame the uneducated redneck fans, but the student section was the loudest and most obvious

Too all you people who have a problem with booing, shut the hell up. I have the god given right to voice my opinion at the game. I booed Miles for his puting jefferson in and taking LEE out. Lee drives the team down the field 65 yard and gets yanked so JJ can run the ball in. That is the same crap Miles did last year and I am tired of it. You don't take a TD away from someone who just drove the team down the field. I could give a crap about JJ. He is a horrible quarterback. Last year was the worst performance by a throwing QB in LSU history. LEE in 4 games has done more than JJ did all of last year. LEE is the better qb and doesn't deserve to get yanked out the game on the one yard line to let a crappy qb in who runs the worst option I have ever seen. JJ is a joke as a running and throwing QB. No one booed him when in came in for his one series where he ran 6 times and punted, sound familiar???

What makes your opinion so fricking sacred?
Posted on 10/1/11 at 10:57 pm to Roaad
No body said mine was sacred a-hole. You can say what ever you want. Don't call me an idiot and a moron for voicing my opinion because its different than yours. If you want to continue to think that JJ is a good quarterback, that JJ deserved to get in the game without practicing for 4 weeks, that JJ deserved to get a td more than the 4 running backs we have or that he deserved it more than LEE go ahead. Thats your opinion.

not destroying it at all. just makes the entire fanbase look like classless idiots, when really its just a select few who are total tards.

Let me see if I follow your reasoning...
You don't think it is appropriate for other people to call you an idiot for expressing your opinion...
It was Les Miles' opinion that the best thing for this team to do, in that situation, was to put JJ in the game (it must be, else he wouldn't have done it)...
You berate the team by publicly booing them (and make no mistake, you cannot boo a single player - we are one team from the coaches down to the training staff, so when you boo, you are expressing discontent for the collective efforts of the entire team), which is at least as offensive as calling someone an idiot...
Yet you seem to think you are the innocent one here? I'm just confused.
So let me ask this: personal opinions of the JJ/Lee situation aside, what gives you the right to publicly undermine the opinions of others, but people cannot undermine yours? On top of that, the person whose opinions you are berating actually has a reliable enough track record of success to be paid for his opinions, whereas you have no credibility. In addition, your opinions were disputed on a website that people go to specifically to hear the opinions of amateurs (and that includes people's opinions that contradict other's). Contrarily, you contested another person's opinion in front of 92,000 people who simply wanted to watch their favorite team win and enjoy a wonderful afternoon of football
So how is it that you are the victim in this exchange? Please stop making yourself out to be the "innocent fan who simply wants what is best for LSU and keeps catching crap for it." It doesn't work like that. If you want to boo our team at the games, expect to receive the internet equivalent of a boo when you post something dumb. If you have the god-given right to boo at the game, then people have the god-given right to boo you online
Disclaimer: I am actually a Lee supporter and I really don't like switching QBs mid-game/drive, but that is hardly the issue
