According to my Michigan buddy, Michigan run D is bad, so that plays into the strengths of LSU.
Their pass offense is good, but run game isn't very strong.
I think this would be a perfect matchup for LSU.

It all depends on getting a few key guys back and healthy. We were really limping into the latter point of the season. We lost a key player in LB/DE Ojemudia, some nicks here and there to other key players like Channing Stribiling and De'Veon Smith.
Unfortunately, our QB took a bigger hit in the Ohio State game. All I've heard is that he "could" play in Michigan's bowl game. I'm not too sure what to think of that. Harbaugh was really able to develop Jake Rudock into a strong quarterback. His improvement from the beginning of the year to the latter of the season was pretty damn impressive if I say so myself.
The talent gap most certainly favors LSU, but I think Michigan could really keep this game tight. Something to the tune of 24-21.

If Harris plays like he did vs Florida and the offensive line shows up like it did vs the Aggies-the Tigers should comfortably beat them.

Assuming Michigan gets off the bus I think they would beat LSU pretty bad and absolutely EMBARRASS Florida.

It's a bowl game.
They have a pulse on defense.
They have a good coach.
They win.

Yes.

We showed that we had a pulse on defense last game and stopped a better offense than Michigan.

Um, so does LSU.

no.

My significant other graduated from Michigan, so I've watched all of their games this year. Watched the home opener at the Big House....
Overall, Depth wise, they are not that deep so we have the talent edge.
Defense:
Aside from the Ohio State game, their defense is overall pretty solid, but I think LSU would have the ability to wear them down over the course of the game. Both of their corners are real solid, so I don't imagine us passing very well.
Offense:
Offensively, I think it's an offense LSU should aspire to be. A power team, but they do it from so many different formations/looks. Much more innovative than ours. They were fortunate to get the Iowa transfer at QB to give them a decent passing attack.
Jake Butt, their TE and WR Jehu Chesson are beasts. I would imagine Chesson would be a hard matchup for Tre White, given White's struggle's this year. Butt knows where to run his routes to open areas.
They also use their 5-star CB Jabril Peppers all over offense and have a Darrell Williams type RB with Devion Smith. Michigan's offense is a tough task for our defense.
Unfortunately for people that want to see QB development, this wouldn't be the game to see it. We'd have to play the possession game and wear their defense down.

before they become the powerhouse we know they'll soon be.
I don't think this.
I'm not at all sold on Harbaugh as a consistent, winning HC. His personnel decisions are suspect.
I will say his shtick will play better in college.

???
He made Stanford a consistent Top 10 team, made the 49ers competitive, and turned Michigan around quickly...pretty sure that is consistent.

It'll be Wisconsin in the Outback, or Northwestern in the Taxslayer Gator. Michigan is an unlikely opponent for the Tigers, they're too highly ranked.
Matching us with Wisconsin would be stupid seeing as we open the season with them next year.

Like it or not the wheels had come off after bama. The players got up for aTm because they thought it was Less's last game.

This, and we still scored under 20 against one of the worst run defenses in the country.

None of this really matters, as it looks like we more than likely, won't be playing Michigan...
