Wrong. SOS averages our opponents. Taking a D2 opponent out of the equation would only help.

If the game is cancelled, LSU will have to scrimmage and the risk of injury is back before you even play a game.
If you don't scrimmage than you fall behind the other teams who have games under their belts.

If I was in Austin, I probably wouldn't be that concerned about Gustav either. However, those on the coast would prefer this game be played and next week is just another normal week!

This is the sagarin rankings. Appy is ahead of Ole Miss and Troy. He factors all schools in his rankings (which have built in SOS based on those rankings). Sagarin is one of the computer polls in the BCS. Dude, you just don't know what you are talking about.

Exactly. Dignon is a moron because he doesn't know the difference in Div 2 and Div 1-AA (or Div. 1 Football Playoff Division). I have seen Div 2 football teams play and McNeese, and that is some awful college football.
I'm not even an Appy State fan and I'm offended. Appalachian State could be one of the top 60 teams in Division 1 (Football Bowl Division).

This is a historic game. It will be the first time two defending national champions from the previous year have ever faced off against each other. So, no, I don't want to see it cancelled at all.
