LSU didn't stand out. we lost 2 games
Why did LSU stick out enough to earn the right to the National Championship game?
If LSU did not stick out & was not undeserving, who was?

I don't!
JR won what championship with the best talent ('06)? He never won when it counted!
Bye-Bye!

This guy was so special and was one of the best talents to ever play at LSU
Too bad he made enough mistakes to help this team NOT to win the 2006 NC!!!!! They were the BEST team at the end of that year.

a brutal schedule and bad playcalling prevented that team from winning a NC...

The coach calls the play. Players have to execute for it to be successful. Poor execution cost us a chance to win another, maybe two more national championships.

Million Dollar Arm - .10 cent head. I will agree that he could have done more with Crowton but he consistantly missed open receivers and threw into double and triple coverage. He will develope more in the NFL but he had tunnel vision on the field while at LSU. All of this of course is my humble opinion.

67.8% completion percentage
Over 3:1 TD to Int ratio
I guess Peyton Manning has a .07 cent head and Matt Flynn has .04 cent head.
Some of you guys are literally fricking retarded.

He was spoon fed short passes all day. He could never consistantly hit anyone over 15 yds. shite I could hit those numbers for passes completed 10 yards and under. Stats don't always tell the tale.

PS Some of you stat junkies are frickin retarded. Only one stat worth talking about....and he has "0" when it comes to that one.

One last point. His average completion for the three years at LSU is 8.5 yards. His junior year it was barely 9 yds/completion. Mindblowing
Matt Maucks senior year was just under 13 yds/completion.

Russell - 9.15 yards per completion
Flynn - 6.71 yards per completion

No, you couldn't.

But your selective, revisionist memory does?
Like I said, you're basically a braindead retard.

I'll let Dan Marino know that Trent Dilfer was a better quarterback.

Josh Booty's average is 14.5. Let's make him King of Mardi Gras.
