i'm not asking you to say whose a better QB because Peyton Manning is one of the best QBs to ever play the game.
You said it's silly to compare their college careers...yet it's funny because JR had a better junior season than Peyton. So, in reality, it's not silly to compare at least that one season.

But any racist will automatically assume racism in others, and see it far more often than it occurs. That is the lesson history has taught us in all places and with all peoples; none see evil in others quite so quickly as those who carry it within themselves.
JaMarcus is probably the best QB LSU has ever had. Flynn was a great QB who won a National Championship. That is something that he will always have over JaMarcus, and even if it is pure luck that is completely irrelevant. Because the most important rule to remember about sports is that shite happens and luck counts.

* Columbus Touchdown Club SEC Player of the Year (2005)
* 4x SEC Offensive Player of the Week (1 in 2005, 3 in 2006)
* First-team All-SEC by the Associated Press and SEC coaches (2006)
* Manning Award (2006)
* Davey O'Brien Award semifinalist (2006)
Plus did Russell not beat out Flynn in 06 in head to head competition? So outside of winning a NC (which btw took more luck from computers than anything Flynn did on field) what makes Flynn better?

Not me. Too big and slow, (slow in more ways than one). I liked him though and always felt comfortable with him except when time was running out.

mainly b/c 10 yrs from nobody will remember or care about the personal awards that JR(or any player for that matter) won, however MF will always be known as the starting qb for the 2007 NC football team.
