I always want to play the best teams when they’re at their best. Championship teams take on the best, and win.
Now yes, I realize any win over a Bama is good, but after 8 games in a row, I want to beat them at their best and I want the environment for that game to be off the charts. And some luster will be off if Mack Jones is their QB.

I agree with you and I don't understand the contrary sentiment. I'd rather beat them without Tua than lose to them with Tua, but we can beat them with Tua, and I would MUCH rather beat them with Tua than beat them without. I want my team to win against the best opponents possible at their best, that's how you get the great games.

Gray, I’m not a player, but every fan of every team in every sport views the program as theirs, so refer to it as “we.”. And that’s a good thing, because we all feel an emotional connection to the program, and for those of us who graduated from LSU and grew up in LA, it is indeed “our” university.

I hope he never plays another down in his college career. In no way is it in our interests that he does because he's the best QB they have by far. He's probably at least worth 21 points. I don't wish him any harm, but I hope he doesn't play against us on November 9th or any other time this season. Aubie would have a much better chance to beat a Tua-less Gump team. That's what we want and need - for us to win and for them to lose, period.
