Corso IS gameday and to boot, he is one damned fine gentleman and a class act. Personally, I like his bullshite. The guy has come back from some major issues such as getting canned at Indiana, or the stroke. When a lot of folks would have said "frick it", he kept fighting. I do not recall who did an interview with him several years ago that was smartassed enough to ask him about his sex life. He got up and walked out of the studio.
I have a lot of respect for him and will truly miss him when he is gone.

So, Dan LeBatard is IMO the brightest sports media type out there. I listen to his radio show 5 days a week, blah blah blah.
Well, for all he knows about sports, somehow, some way, he did not know that Corso had a stroke as of a few months ago. He has Corso on the show a few months ago. And obviously, Corso stumbles through a few of his words or whatever and LeBatard jokingly asks him if he had been drinking that day. Yikes.
I guess during commercial or whatever, LeBatard was informed about it. So, at the end of the interview, LeBatard apologizes profusely. And Corso being the just great dude that he is, humbly accepts AND says he'll try to do better next time. Just yet another example of how Great of a guy he is.
I actually had no clue that he had the stroke either til that interview as I never watch ESPN before the games kickoff on Saturday.
LeBatard after the interview said that was the worst he's ever felt in his entire life. I mean, it wasn't really a dick move since he honestly had no clue. you'd think a respected journalist would have known, but he simply didn't.

Corso is a good guy.. he has earned the right to have fun while earning a living.

I like Corso. He's not supposed to be a football rocket scientist on TV; he's supposed to be energetic and entertaining. Which he is.

Corso and the the entire game day crew is a carnival show. Absolutely no substance. People giggling over adolescent inside jokes, unsupported predictions, and wearing papier mache mascot heads.
