If he gets passed up then he will prepare for next game like most teams do. Who cares, get to the Texas a&m game in that nasty weather on Saturday
Such a shite take. We as fans care. Joe deserves it and it elevates LSU as a program. You don’t think Ohio State, USC, and Oklahoma snow off those trophy cases filled with SEVEN heismans? Some of them from recently enough to matter? College football success requires recruiting. Recruiting requires bells and whistles to show off. Winning these awards directly correlates to more success for LSU via recruiting. shite take.

Ever since Suh didn’t win the Heisman, in a pretty weak year for it, I don’t think a defensive player will ever win it again unless they are also a playmaker on offense or special teams. I’m not concerned about Young winning it, only people saying he deserves it are OSU fans and they should fight for their guy...doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.

Urban is trying to screw Joe out of it for leaving.

High caliber and integrity?
Didn’t Jameis Winston win the Heisman?
Disregard all caliber and integrity....
Joe might actually bring some integrity to the award since God knows when, and God unfortunately knew Tebow.

They are trying to create suspense

Because only dummies go to Ohio State, duh. Burrow realized this and got the hell out.

If he gets passed up it will be because he played a couple of subpar games.
Posted on 11/28/19 at 10:26 am to KosmoCramer
cuz he is a defensive lineman
what other reason would there be?

would be disappointed, but I have to admit that handing it to a QB most years is annoying.
It’s gone to a few running backs in the past several years.
A defensive player will likely never win it again though. It just isn’t possible for them to have as much of an impact on enough plays to put them over a good QB or running back.

ESPN Built Woodson up and showed every play and didn't say crap about Manning. Manning was the best but every 20 minutes they had Woodson striking the Heisman pose.

That was really bad. Manning should have won with ease ..... But he just didn't have that game late in the season that Woodson had against OHio St and he could not best FLA.

Woodson was a total beast. And also showed out bigly in the league.
Could have gone either way.
