Well frick that damn coonass then.
Nowhere in the OP was any notion of support for the current situation - just wish there was a little less hate.
Bringin me down (much like O has done)

NO, your just a bitch also, and if LSU wins this weekend, it will be because of some random fluke and universe mystery...

I'm not an O supporter, but I have to agree about the hate and vitriol.
If O stays ten years, averages eleven wins/year and wins five NCs, the haters will still hate and look for any reason to cut him down. You 'll be able to bet your arse and wife some of them will still bring up Troy.
They're either too stupid to realize they're only hurting the program's image, or are willing to drag it down in the short run, thinking they'll somehow hasten his leaving, or are just too stupidly and immaturely spiteful to care. And none of them would ever have the integrity to admit they were wrong.
shite happens. Saban lost to ULM. If team A is supposed to beat team B 99 times out of a hundred, that doesn't mean they'll win every time...there's still the one time in a hundred they won't!
Whether anyone likes it or not, he's got the job and he's not leaving for at least two or three years. Get over it. Enjoy the games, win or lose. It'll help your blood pressure and help lengthen your lives!

I really thought there is no way O can do worse than 8-9 wins a year and he is already making a statement on that. Any less than 9 wins is completely unacceptable
9+ win seasons
Les Miles 80%
Nick Saban 60%
Bill Arnsbarger 66%
All other LSU coaches <50%
LSU fans have enjoyed the game for over 100 years. Lower the bar and enjoy the ride. Love the team, not the outcome. Geaux Tigers!

You realize there are more games now right?

If there's one thing I could erase from the language from the past decade or so it would be the notion that any and all critique could be dumbed down to simply accusing the critic of being a "hater."
In this case, it's both lazy and inaccurate. People, myself included, have gone through great lengths to explain WHY they dislike the hire and the way things have gone. To dismiss it as merely "hating" seems to be a lack of desire to engage in discussion.

IDK but I am making a list of those who are not welcome back to the LSU brotherhood if they do.

I will have admitted I was wrong wayyyy before ten years. But you see...well...I'm not wrong...and I don't hate O personally...but I hate him deeply as a coach. And yes...I think he's too dumb to be a head coach. And I hate Alleva for hiring someone too dumb to be a head coach. Simple.

From what I have heard of coach O's antics inside the building being pretty much the same shite he pulled at OM, he hasn't given me any reason to believe he's changed.
No matter what happens on the field O is O.

Will O build a time machine? Because I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but we shouldnt lose to troy. Horse is already out of the barn.

My hate is for Alleva and the Board of Supervisors propping him up. The fact that the AD had to step in, like Ed's daddy or something, and reaffirm the "rules" about letting coaches coach - it's just not a good look, period!
And its not just Ranters talking about the AD getting involved, it's been talked about on ESPN so everyone knows what's up. Crazy thing is, it was Ed himself that blabbed to the press about the meeting. That in and of itself is a bad look.
As far as the "vitriol" you're lamenting on a rant-themed message board in your thread, and I'm ignoring that for the moment, let me try to phrase this question in a way that might actually help you (and others) understand why some of us are so angry. I promise you haven't heard this question so hear me out, okay? Here's the question:
If Alabama was 4-2 right now, how mad do you think their fans would be?
Some of us are mad because yes, we have the highest expectations for LSU football even though we have fallen short of those expectations. Alabama fans expect the same of their program and obviously they have enjoyed what Saban-coached teams have accomplished. But they would be mad as hell if they were to lose 4 games last year, get thumped 37-7 to Moo State, or lose on homecoming to, say, La Tech.
But what's happening, apart from a vocal minority, is that LSU fans aren't angry, aren't upset, aren't demanding answers or accountability at any level from the program. It's like our fan base's expectations are less like Bama, and more like South Carolina - where the fans are happy just to get a bowl invitation.
I've seen that reality before, and I'm sorry but I don't want to go back. We should be winning SEC Conference Championships, and going to the playoffs every year - not saying oh well, we'll be better next year.
If people can't understand that...fan apathy actually can negatively impact the performance of a football program over time, I really don't know what else to say.

I realize that the search was not legit, the AD is incompetent, and the coach seems clueless, but
The fact that you put a "but" in there and continued going depresses me.
This was a Gene Chizik level bad hire. And much like Gene Chizik, the only Orgeron will sniff a championship is to drop $200k on a Cam Newton like quarterback.

If you are dumb enough to even think Saban would return, stand on your head and pee in your shoes.

Honestly I don’t think people will really start to come back to reality until the aggies motorboat us this year. I have a feeling the pitchforks will come out at that point and demand changes .

They're correct. Alleva is an idiot for even seriously considering him a viable candidate for permanent LSU HC.
Believe me though, I hope like hell we beat auburn Saturday. I promise you that. I will never root for LSU to lose, no matter my feelings on the coach, AD,etc

No, it won't ever end. They are not really pissed off at coach O . Instead they just really miss the object of their gay love, Les Miles.
