Damn :( should still be loaded but was exciting to think about.

2026 is not the class I think they were hoping for but Annalisa and Audree should be solid and provide depth and routines that can develop down the road.

2027 class is loaded and prob the deepest class Jay Clark has signed. Lunch, Ruck, Sparks, Sage will make a big time splash, I expect a few to defer to 2028 like Hezly tho

I’d expect this offseason the focus will be getting some key gymnasts healthy back into the staple of things, Mustari, Wenner, Konnor, Zoe miller etc. that would make a big difference for next season.

I’d expect lsu to look to add a transfer or two to supplement. I image getting another quality 10.0 vault would be high on the list. There are a few routines we prob could upgrade by next year to help give us better scoring potential

Is Rivera coming next season or 2027?

Prob not until 2028 after Olympics

Jennie Rowland doing less with more again

I think Jennie really needs to get a better vault coach. Florida is always outstanding on bars and beam imo, she recruits exceptionally well. Just needs a better coach to develop on vault
Good season lsu will be back. They really don’t lose many significant routines. I’m sure they’ll supplement a body or two from the portal and get the others healthy

Just change all the routines to match the easiness of OUs and dare the judges to score the same performances differently.

Coen and Emily Innes had routines exactly like OU but somehow scoring near a full .100 lower for pretty much the same routines
Great year, to almost win a natty with the amount of talent LSU lost from last years squad was impressive. Definitely need to get a few faces healthy, probably add a transfer or two and make another run next year.

I'm sure Jay is itching for that top 2027 class to get in, more star power is on the way

Bottom line, we were leading at the 4th rotation. If we scored 9.9's from everyone we would have handily won. But 9.8s doesn't win against OK. You have to be almost perfect to beat them. Runner up is nothing to sneeze at or be upset about. Come back next year stronger and better.

If floor was scored the way it was the entire meet its a different discussion. Lots of better routines across the other but somehow the last rotation gets here and average routines that scored 9.85-9.875 all season go 9.9375 and the anchors had a massive hop on her final pass scoring a 9.950 (Higher then ANY of LSUs routines on floor)

Oklahoma is never punished for their hilariously safe floor routines. We’ve seen it time after time

They are sliding and bouncing out of landings yet still going 9.9+

Chio friggen hop.

Didnt matter they gave OU gymnast who bounced badly out her last pass a 9.950
OU going near 9.950 each floor routine. This feels over unless LSU gets some massive scores
quote:

If LSU goes six 9.9+ in bars we are in the driver seat!

Gonna need to hit beam but in good spot
LSU only a .100 out of first place, bars will tell the tale. Can be one of LSU’s better events only if they hit dismounts
LSU just doesn't have the routines this season to afford the Big 3 to be off
