Hang on a damn minute- since when did a naked, oily Hasselhoff with puppies become gay? Did I miss something?

What about the dropped TD pass, the dropped pass for a 1st down, and the first INT was a bobble off reciever's chest.

I guess that's all J Lee's fault.

You people are pathetic and have a gang mentality. You get your jollies by jumping in to bash someone that has accomplished so much more in their athletic career than you could ever imagine. There is nothing more pathetic than mid 30's 9 to 5'ers piling on a college athelte. A college athlete who by the way chose LSU over a pile of other offers is the target of your misplaced anger. If you are one of the idiots that continue to pile on J. Lee or ANY OTHER TIGER for that matter, you might want to look in the mirror and see what's missing in your own life. On 2nd thought, you're probably better off in denial

Amen to that post man. The people on here that constantly gang up on and bash players in all probability have no life. The rant is their most precious commodity which thus translates them into being virgins. So sad.

Sure he is, I just wish it was for another team besides LSU.

Apparently he might be better than Crompton or Burns.

Not a ringing endorsement from other SEC teams.

He might be good enough to play in the SEC. But he is clearly NOT IMO good enough to play for LSU.

I'm sure JL is a good guy, and I would never wish anything bad to happen to him, but it would suit me fine if I NEVER saw him under center for the Tigers again.

Dude blew his shot with his consistent regression last season. He not only didn't get better as the season progressed, he got worse. A comeback victory over a rent-a-win in one of the single worst performances by a Tiger football team this Tiger fan has witnessed in 22 years of fandom is hardly a resume builder.

To the contrary, his record number of pick-6's and poorly thrown balls last year should be setting off Tiger fans' 'this qb isn't LSU material' alarms.

The kid does have some physical ability but his rep with the team is shot. His own confidence is also shot. He might make it with another team who doesn't remember his dismal performance last year but not this group. He's been totally disgraced and acts like it. That ain't the kind of leadership we want at the QB position.

I'm sure he'd be fine at Ole Miss, MSU, Vandy, or UK -- schools with winning football traditions.

...Says the guy that has never played a down of menaingful football. Writing off an elite QB after a handfull of starts his freshman year is just plain stupid. Yes, JL was an elite 11 QB and has the skills to become a winner in the SEC. What he lacks is leadership and confidence that comes with age and hard work. Until I hear the coaches say that he is not working hard and trying to get better, I will always support him and every other player on the team. What actions do you speak of when you say "He's been totally disgraced and acts like it". I think you are full of shite and talking out of your arse.

do you people really think Jarret Lee is good enough to play in the SEC?
He played against and beat multiple SEC teams with one of the worst defenses in the league supporting him. It is pretty damn stupid to think he's not good enough to play in the SEC.

That does not mean that he necessarily will ever play in the SEC again, because he may be behind one or more QBs who are even better. But that would be nothing unusual. Many, many players "good enough" to play in the SEC have spent their entire careers never seeing significant playing time because they were buried on depth charts behind more talented players.

Remember, "good enough to play in the SEC" means good enough to play at Mississippi State, Vandy, South Carolina, Kentucky, Auburn, etc. You don't have to be an LSU starter-caliber player to be good enough to play in the SEC. Melvin Hill was good enough to play in the SEC.

See my comment on page 2. You are a never was/wannabee who knows nothing about what it takes to play in the SEC as a freshman that was supposed to be the #3 qb and probably knew about half of Crowtons encyclopedic playbook by the end of the season.
You know NOTHING, N O T H I N G, sonnyboy and have only to post to show the world you should not.

We all forget that this kid should have never even seen the field last year. He should have been learning the system and how to read defenses and how to check off recievers who are covered. He never got the chance to learn the system before he was thrown to the wolves. RP should have been playing last year and this year while this kid developed. Then we could have seen what a polished product we have; a la Matt Flynn his senior year.
