I don’t think he’s less talented but Henry has always been a grinder who’s singularly focused while Fournette wasted some of his early years with poor decisions and off the field nonsense.
This. As much as I hate to say, Henry has grown on me due to his ever improving in the off season. Henry had some glaring holes in his game that he fixed and seems to get better each year. Also, he seems to really focus on staying healthy and controlling his weight, unlike Fournette.
That is the difference between good and great, the great ones commit fully to it and tune out the noise. LF, unfortunately, never fully committed to keep his body in tip top shape and got too heavy.

also the game against McNeese was completely canceled because a thundercloud stubbornly hung over Tiger Stadium for 3 hours
Fournette likely would have had 200 yards by halftime on less than 10 carries. it cut into his stats big time
against Alabama Les tried to put in some wrinkles by designing a few new pass routes for Fournette. they couldn't quite connect. once those plays failed along with no other passing game to speak of...bama had their way. i hardly blame Fournette for Les's one dimensional offense

So they got one year of playoff success with their top 5 pick……not very successful for me. I mean they didnt even want to pay him after his rookie contract and couldn’t trade him for anybody. In hindsight don’t you think they wish they would have taken McCaffrey?

Yeah Henry has grown on me too. Especially now since hes a raven but i loved him in Tennessee. His professionalism is commendable being that most guys that big don’t last with conditioning, agility and injury

LF just isn’t as agile as he used to be. He was used hard both in high school as well as college so he might just be out of gas. I’d still take him over Williams though as our power back.

Duh. That’s the captain obvious statement of the night . Lmao
I think I would take Brandon Jacobs over Reggie Bush as a power back as well.
