The autonomous program is a great way to use old F-16 aircraft past their hourly lifespan on the airframe but if we had 120 new block 70 or block 80 that is in the works would be a great 2nd line behind our stealth fleet that is much more economical to operate than the F-15EX and its 2 huge engines. They would be perfect home defense fighters.
We can’t build more F-22s, the production line has long been shut down (thanks Obama, you fricking terrorist). The F-16 Viper would be a great complement to our growing 5th gen fleet. I love the F-15EX and we still need many more of those as well but the F-16 gives you that multirole ability where the F-15EX is a huge gun truck, the F-16 is a smaller target and very agile while still being able to carry a huge load-out and the conformal fuel tanks helps the F-16 not need to carry 2-3 belly/wing tanks of fuel where they can carry more munitions. There is still plenty of room to add a 4.5+ gen platform that is battle tested and it’s capability is known worldwide with so many nations having legacy F-16s still as their front line fighters.
This is the smallest and worst state our AF has been since we became a superpower. Yes, F-35 production needs to increase but with export orders waiting as well as our own forces, buying brand new F-16 block 70 fighters from South Carolina. We are a 5th gen force and soon to be 6th generation but buying 100-120 brand new Vipers would go a very long way to filling the gap in capability that we are currently fighting. Some units on any given day only have 30-35% operational on the flight line with the rest needing some form of maintenance. The new F-16s will age very well with the advanced sensors and targeting, EW, etc pods it carries as well as missiles and ground attack munitions. It would be a great 2nd line and multirole CAS aircraft behind the 5th and 6th gen aircraft. We also have training and logistics lines already in place. Outfitting active duty units with new aircraft would also let older airframes to go to Air Guard units or to the boneyard for parts.
Now remember Rattler started 1/2 the season and not Shough.
I love Fears but I hate to say it but I don’t really care for Queen and I don’t see his game jumping a huge margin. If we are truly keeping Zion, I believe you need to move Queen. They will never be able to play with each other and sone team might be willing to take a shot with Queen developing. If Zion is going then that’s different but it seems Dumars is against that. This is Jeremiah Fears’ team now.
My lord why does his family still let him get in front of cameras and people? Elder and spousal abuse.
Put this fricking terrorist on the first tire floating back to Somalia.
It’s about time someone got that terrorist count out of our government. Put her on the next thing smoking back to Somalia.
He’s just way too weak and hasn’t gained any play strength since turning pro. Runs crisp routes and has really good hands but he’s one good hit from disaster. I want my #1 6’2”+ 200+ that can win 50/50 balls and take them away from corners. I see Olave as a more talented Lance Moore but we still need our Marques Colston to make the offense take another step up. I would give Olave $25 million for 4 years, no more. If that isn’t agreeable then we trade him for draft assets and restart the rookie time clock by drafting a replacement. Just because we finally are in a better cap situation doesn’t mean we should spend it recklessly. That’s how the good teams stay that way. The last injury prone Ohio State WR we gave a big deal to didn’t exactly work out for us. I see receiver as an easier position to find talent than on the lines or QB.
I can’t wait to leave NATO just to watch Europe beg us to stay.
Upvote if yes, downvote if no.

I’ll be the first downvote on my own post. I think Olave is a very talented player but I just cant hand him a $120+ million contract. To me he’s an ideal #2 on a playoff caliber team but he’s not Jamar Chase, JJ, Puka Nacua, JSN, etc. He’s on the next tier below in my opinion.

One is uber athletic but too short to play the 4 and the other isn’t athletic at all as a 6’9” C. Both seem allergic to playing defense and both need to put the fork down at the buffet. At least we have Fears……..

If Darvin Ham is our next coach then I’m becoming a Spurs or Nuggets fan. He’s awful. Good luck finding anyone better than Borrego that wants this disaster.
You support Iran? Do you also support Ilhan Omar, Rashida Talib and AOC as well? Its time to bomb everything that keeps Iran in the modern age like power facilities, nuclear facilities, Iranian leadership that is left like the gay son of the Ayatollah and any and all military targets. They need to be taught if you frick with the bull you get the horns.
