With our receiving corp, Nuss will throw for 500 yards per game

He's a mediocre quarterback. We would not be contenders.

If he can cut back in the bad decisions and turnovers he will probably be better than Daniels.

But he’s dangerous with the ball

I honestly believe LSU would be more effective with Nuss in there. I like Daniels but he can be tentative. I like gunslinger quarterbacks like Nuss. Hope he gets some snaps early on.

Nuss definitely has a better arm and can make throws that JD can’t.

It can be frustrating but JD is much, much less likely to kill the team with a bad int.

And that’s why JD is starting right now gives the team the best chance.

I think Nuss' performance in the Championship game and Bowl game opened some eyes and brains in the media

I’d argue that the SECCG and bowl game show EXACTLY why JD is the starter rather than Nuss.

It’s easy to look at the big numbers Nuss put up in those 2 games, but because the 2 games were both blowouts ignore the really really bad ints he threw in each game.

Yes he made some throws that JD will never make. But he also made some really bad decisions that JD doesn’t make either.

Again, if Nuss can cut back in those bad decisions, he’s a better QB than Daniels. But he’s got to prove it.

Garrett Nussmeier is listed at 6’1”

He might be 5’11” probably an inch shorter without shoes

Definitely a short king as far as D-1 ball goes
