The 2004 team was terribly coached
Actually, "terribly" coached would describe LSU's football team in 1999 where we went on an 8 game losing streak and the coach had to be relieved of his duties.

Hey Zee, you still up at the Bluffs?
I'm coming down to BR 6/7-6/14 and I'd like to get in a round if possible.

You think Saban > LSU. It is unfortunate.
Where is this said?

The team with Bradie James, Josh Reed, Trev Faulk, Jarvis Green, Rohan Davey, Domanick Davis. etc.

of course Miles would be better in winning percentages. He took over a great team.
Which had how many losses the year before he took it over?

The Sporting New list is just retarded. If the list was based on the last 3 years, then Miles should be a top ten coach. He has the second best record to Pete Carroll. I don't think overall that Miles is a top ten coach. But people on that list shouldn't be ahead of him like, Schiano, Leach, Kelly, Mangino, Grobe. Who are all good coaches, but Miles surpasses them with what he as achieved the last 3 years.
Regardless if Miles is an idiot, his record is something that can't be touched or reversed (Unless RP turns out to be Lester Earl). Personally, I am not a Miles fan, but as an LSU fan, it is hard to complain when you have a ring and bragging rights in a Damn Strong SEC.

3 compared to 8 for Saban

If we had kept Saban LSU would have at least 3 titles in this decade instead of 2.
If not for Saban, we'd have beat Iowa in the 2004/5 Capital One Bowl and ended up 10-2 and ranked no worse than #8. He was so busy checking out of LSU, counting his money in his head and congratulating himself that, OOOOOPSIE!, he forgot to fricking pay attention to actually coaching the damn game in the last minute.

The ones who go undefeated did not need any luck from games they couldnt control.
Not very many of those in the BCS era my friend AND even w/ this they had 1 or 2 games that required some fortunate/lucky things to take place in the game to pull out a win.
Just stop the non-sense and go blow Saban on the bammer board.

An LSU team with those same players went on an 8 game losing streak in 1999.
What about a team with Whitworth, Addai, Hester, Wroten, K. Williams, D. Bowe, Niswanger, Landry, Doucet, Russell, C. Davis, Dorsey?

Yea, Saban lost that game.
Does he not have control over the team and what Defense to call in that situation?
Is he not a DB genius?
Did this same thing happen against Arkansas as well?
Bottom line is he averaged about 3 losses a year.

The same thing happened at R-Kansas in 2002 also.
