Is it on the ground? Probably, but you cannot see the ball touching the ground definitively.

Stupid to the point of scary.

You clearly see the ball touching the turf? I see shadows.

Yes.

And at 34:52, the ball actually bounces off of the turf. And again after hitting his arm.

Again, while I understand the limitations of much of our fanbase, this is very easy and the call was 100% right.

I watched that replay on YouTube earlier. I believe the ball hit the ground, but I haven't seen a still image of it hitting the ground. I'm not sure why you're acting like an a-hole when the image is limited by shadows.

If ruled INt like it should have been live, I don’t see how it’s overturned

Every single image of a ball on the ground will have shadows under it, as the field is lit from above. The "shadow" is between the ball and the ground. It is not possible for the elbow to be cradling the ball beyond the point at which the elbow ends.

This is simply common sense. Every single referee on the planet would consider that "definitive" evidence.

The ball was OOB before anyone had possession.

Other than that, I agree. I think it hit the ground, but I don't see it touching the ground. The shadows make that impossible.

Photo proof that the UT WR had his elbow under the ball.

Under the tip of the ball, the ball is still on the ground.

Unless you're going to try and argue that his elbow under the tip kept the entire football suspended above the ground.

It seemed like Stingley had the ball pinned against the UT guy with his right hip, but like I said, I think it hits the ground.

As for the shadow, you know what I mean.

This ball is on the ground. The Stingley one is far more difficult to see.

Yeah my beef with the play is it being ruled a UT catch on the field. That's an atrocious call. It was an INT or incomplete. In no way was it ever a UT completion.

Unless Stingley has a significant beer belly, he's completely over the ball and unable to pin it against anything but the ground.

I never saw it definatively it the ground from the angle they showed on replay. To me it rolled around on the side of the receiver.

I was about to lose my shite thinking that after the review they were going to somehow still give him a catch.

Inconclusive. Should have been ruled an interception. The reverse angle in my opinion showed his hand underneath the ball. I agree the refs blew the call and took the easy way out. There was a small amount of home cooking.

Surely you think the video shows this, though? The replay shows the ball, however slightly, bouncing off the turf.

It hit the ground. I have watched it about 20 times. The angle is not until almost the end of the replays they were showing us
