Why are we only comparing high points?

Because Neal’s worst is probably close to Milazzos best. So the upside matters when you start checking boxes.

Milazzos best is 0.440 vs “bad pitching”

Neal isn’t hitting that good right now. Another false narrative.

Context matters, but I get what it looks like optically. You need to see him fail, I don’t.

Give Milazzo a Sunday start and give Neal a Tuesday start. Seems it might help both of them.

Milazzo would see SEC pitching and maybe Neal finds a groove against lesser talent?

We’ve seen him fail plenty. It’s good to see him be successful.

It’s April 12, and Alex Milazzo is hitting .375…

Does nobody care about sample size anymore?

Only person on the team that has truly produced under the guise of not enough ABs is Paxton Kling. Milazzo has 1/2 of the ABs as Neal and the rest of the team from riding pine, so 35 AB is a lot less than 70 AB.

Your average has dropped .32 points since 4/5, so the mistakes are glaring in the box score. Aka sample size…being from Zachary/Centeal, Glad Milazzo is getting PT, but saying he’s hitting 70 points above his competition then he’s fine. But that’s not how it works.

Let’s see what his BA is once he gets to some real ABs. Cade is the only one to truly take hold of his opportunities, and even with 18 ABs more than Milazzo, he doesn’t have even fit into the matrix. Neal might be struggling hut he’s still drawing walks and getting runners over. Milazzos biggest hit was a 2 run sac bunt.

Sorry y’all are so excited about .400+ but look at Dylan: 500, OBP +900, SLG almost 1.000, Milazzo dropped 36+ Ba points this week. Sorry, sample size IS very important. Dropped from .407 to .375 in a weekend. That’s nothing but an indication that his sample size is bogus.
