Fine. You have made a point.

However, RP screwed us over 3 years ago and this combination of offensive coaches has been unable to rectify the situation in those years. That combined with a complete lack of attention to detail on the offensive side of the ball is inexcusable.

You thank Miles. I'm groing tired of supporting him.
well when you have two frosh starting and playing as sophomores.....who will commit to the tigers?....the best one left for the draft....he was legit....

in every other phase miles has taken care of business.....defense is great/ special teams is great...running game is good...passing game needs improvement..clean program...not too bad if you ask me

Way to blame a player that was recruited 5 years ago and would be out of eligibility anyway.

RP was a Freshman in '07 so he would have been a senior this year.

So them getting early experience has hurt us past the time that RP would still even be eligible at LSU?

Also, tell us your story about LSU having no talent and all black QBs sucking again.

playing them early crippled them...they were not ready...learning an offense inside and out without criticism of failure makes a big difference...and also hurt the teams performance in 08 and 09...a solid leader at qb equals more wins and equals better recruit coming in when rp would have left....now with jj/jl playin so young other qb's dont wanna come here that are top rated......

you said black qb's suck......i said when lsu face's a team with a black qb, typcially lsu win's....a couple of time in the past lsu has lost to a top level qb that happened to be black....i promise you......alabama/fla/ark/auburn are all saying lsu cant beat us with a black qb year in and year out...

but yet it is okay for everyone to say black athletes are faster hence forth they play running back more often and db than a white can.....its okay to say that but when it is brought up that typcially white qb's play better , im bad now?....come on man

The main thing is that we knew when RP got kicked off the team we were going to be in trouble at the qb position... We had two freshmen that were going to get thrown to the wolves in SEC play... The main problem is that we still have not recruited a qb in the last two years... The way things are going right now we are going to have another situation like 2 years ago and have no one at LSU to learn the system before taking the field.

No, you FAIL. RP was a RSF in '06, so he would have been a senior last year.

but im not sure how much help RP would have been with that defense.

BOOM
your missing the point....jj/jl would not have been thrown to the wolves.....say what you want but the last two years with them has hurt them more than help....you dont understand.....

you have no idea how hard it is to get qb's around that time after rp was there...they know he was good so they go elsewhere....rp problem has haunted us....proper practice time with jj/jl not playing and maturing would have made a bigger difference this year....

Other programs seem to be able to recruit good QBs who aren't afraid of competition. Plus, he was kicked off the team 2-1/2 years ago.

Stop blaming a 1 player on a football team of 85 scholarship athletes who hasn't been on the team in over 2 years.
qb play can severely hurt offensive play......yes it makes a huge difference....and it has....jl is ready, people will see.....he needs more playing time to get himself comfortable

Double Fail. Count again.

2005 - Redshirt LSU
2006 - Freshman LSU
2007 - Sophmore LSU
2008 - Junior Jacksonville St
2009 - Senior Jacksonville St

my point exactly like i said...rp in the offense last yr and 08...would have made a tremendous difference with both lee and jj and helped the recruiting of other qb's coming in.....with the way jj has played? you think a qb wants to come in and play for lsu?....immature mind would say hell no....when it has nothing to do with crowton....

That is great... but do they know the system at LSU... Negative... what has made our last couple of qbs good at LSU was having them as Freshmen and giving them a year or two year to watch from the sideline to learn the system before starting a game... we still dont have one because there hasnt been one recruited... im not saying these incoming guys arent going to be good, but having someone at the school to watch and learn before they play is better for the kids

Starting young QBs in the SEC is never ideal, but sometimes necessary. Players leave for the NFL early, get kicked off the team, get injured. $#&% happens. Stop living in the past. We have 2 JUNIOR QBs this year, and at least JL seems to be playing like it. JJ, not so much.

we're to the point where we could actually thank RP.. esp if we can turn the O around.

Why?

If kept RP, that means THIS YEAR would be JLs or JJs first year starting.

Now remember what that was like in 2008.

At least we broke them in when we had a crappy defense. They got a lot of valuable playing time and experience the last two year, which SHOULD be (remains to be seen) a benefit this year and next, which is good since we got our defense at a championship level.

RPs absence undeniably hurt us the last two years, but we probably didnt have a good enough defense to compete for a title anyhow.

was totally negative imo.....this year jj/jl would be much better learning the last 2 years....
