Theyre firing from land duh

Small IRGC boats.
quote:

Wonder what the cargo was....Besides maybe oil.........and?

Hard to imagine they would do this with anything high value/risk (Chinese weapons).

This seems too obvious. A test? Set up? Distraction?

There has to be something more here.

Edit: Iranian news make this look like an export. But they don’t export anything other than oil, and I don’t think this was oil.

Yeah - not sure how Iran fired on a tanker with our firepower all around.

Makes no sense.
quote:

This is exactly like what Obama did.

No. Obama gave them pallets of cash they used to build ballistic missiles and export arms to Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthis. Iran kicked out nuke inspectors

Obama is indirectly responsible for the Israeli massacre by Hamas and this entire mess.

Their ability to export material support for terror and build nukes will be gone because of Trump.

Obama enabled it.

Results couldn’t be more opposite.
Won’t happen. It will get moved to federal court, then likely dismissed by DOJ.
quote:

so how long before people are charged? because until then its just fake news!

This is what it will take for the media to cover it.

We need cuffs and perp walks of those who orchestrated it.
That’s pure pandering. Anyone with half a brain knows he doesn’t have the ability to do any of it.

What’s worse is he knows it. And he also knows his supports are idiots and will believe his lies.

I genuinely have a slight amount of pity for them.
quote:

We have accomplished delaying nukes and degrading missile capabilities. And navy. These were the main goals

And putting them in a position where they can’t provide material support to Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthis.

And crippled China energy imports. That’s massive. They are exposed.

And forced leadership change x50.

And they just spent like 5B on weapons for oil from China. Which mostly got blowed up. And now China can’t get their oil.

All wins.
2 might get it.

I’d normally number all, but no. Zeros.
quote:

See, I don’t think you do.

What happens when they run out of leaders?
quote:

Iran will never agree to any of those in good faith, and Trump lacks the popular mandate or war support to topple the Iranian regime to effectively enforce those provisions

Just keep doing what they’re doing. Maintain air superiority over Tehran. Arm opposition. Insert propaganda. Enforce embargo/blockade. Continue to take out their leadership.

1 of 2 things will happen:

- you’ll get someone who will accept those terms

- the people will overthrow the IRGC and Mullahs.
quote:

Good luck with that.

Iran was the engine that made it possible. Without Iran, they don’t have the funding, organization, or weapons.

They are reduced to a loose band of jihadists with no influence.

That’s why the Mullahs cannot persist. They will restart the machine and the cycle will continue.
quote:

If other countries oil can’t get out, you can’t get out.

Not only that, but continue decapitating their leaders until you get someone to work with.

Use propaganda to turn IRGC or make them walk away.

Problem is midterms.
Google is your friend.

quote:

They consisted of a spun aluminum hub and a 32-inch-diameter (81 cm), 9-inch-wide (23 cm) tire made of zinc-coated woven 0.033-inch-diameter (0.84 mm) steel strands attached to the rim. Titanium chevrons covered 50% of the contact area to provide traction. Inside the tire was a 25.5-inch-diameter (65 cm) titanium bump stop frame to protect the hub.
quote:

The problem is the Iranians are setup well for a war of attrition

With our surveillance and technology, we win attrition. There’s only so many places they can pop up and fire whatever they have left. They are limited.

They can’t make more. They can’t import more. There’s only so many places they can hide. It’s just a matter of time.

Spin up propaganda and get IRGC to defect.

Play the long game.
quote:

Israel Will Hold Back in Lebanon

Two things;

1- frick that. Lebanon is a sovereign country and needs to control their borders. This tacitly acknowledges Hezbollah - Iran partnership. Not good.

2- this all but guarantees the cease fire will fail.
quote:

don't discuss, don't use this to negotiate anything from other NATO members, just GTFO

Exactly. Just quit and close your bases in Europe.

Technically still in it, but it’s not a drag. Update our capability to defend homeland.
quote:

Additionally, after you drop the Moab, they can come right back in afterWard and launch drones from where you dropped the bombs.

Yeah - you’d almost have to seize the entire coast around the strait and set up a buffer zone.

Then defend it in perpetuity.

Not realistic for us militarily.
I heard this morning that the PM fully supports it.

Someone trying to cause a schism.
quote:

Israel is going to frick up any cease fire deal.

Except they didn’t. Lebanon isn’t Iran.
