Or at least coming in with him?
Don't you have some film go be breaking down, Coach?

goes for the next safest pick in Schlossnagle. Schloss has a great resume, I just wonder how much of it is him and how much is the private school advantages given to him.
Schloss would have to take a decent pay cut to come here...and 2nd...what advantages are you talking about...specifically? Lastly..zero chance Schloss is leaving TCU.

Who’s your top 5 of who we are hearing about?
Mine:
Vitello
McDonnell
Sully
Godwin
Schloss
After analyzing all information available, I think it's either Godwin or Vitello - our third or forth option.
All the top candidates will say "no thank you" because they are too rooted in their current situation and already make millions. Why take the risk?

Same was said about Jimbo Fisher, Chris Peterson, Buzz Williams and Kim Mulkey. You are not analyzing that information very well, my friend.

Oh nothing that everyone hasn't already mentioned or what's publicly available online. I read articles about recent contract extensions, researched tenure of respective staffs, rosters and future recruiting classes.
Most of these LSU coaching rumors are nothing more than agents trying to get their client a raise and more commission for themselves.

This is the most significant part of your post. Every agent, in order to be a good agent, has to let LSU know their client is interested. It’s their job to know the market. It’s their job to use the leverage as an advantage for their client whether LSU or the coach is actually interested. It’s why the KOS rumors mean nothing… for now.
Let's put it this way. If you are a college HC your agent has reached out to LSU to "express interest" in the job. Think of any name in the profession. Doesn't matter. Their rep has reached out to LSU.
When it comes to CBB LSU is the prettiest girl in the room because EVERY HC knows their is tremendous commitment from the school and tremendous support for the program which equals the willingness to pay a tremendous salary and the ability to have tremendous success. An agent isn't doing his job if he doesn't at least call LSU to have a discussion....and they all have. Pick the school. Pick the name. Their agent has contacted LSU.

I think you're wrong.
TCU doesn't have the private school "advantages" that you are referring to. Kendal Rogers has spoken about that in the past. Plus, Schlossnagle has to recruit every year against Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech (all state schools), which sorta mitigates whatever advantages you may think he enjoys there.
The size of the contract will not be factor for Woodward, who just paid $2.585 million for a women's basketball coach.
And I would vigorously challenge your last assertion about Schlossnagle not leaving TCU. If LSU doesn't want him, A&M will take him and LSU will have to play against Schlossnagle every year. He has done all he can do at TCU. He's only 50 years old and would undoubtedly welcome the challenge of coaching in the SEC.

Re-read my post...I’m questioning another poster saying he has advantages. And as far as salary goes, Schloss is making about 300k more than PM. And lastly..I stick by my assertions he isn’t leaving..I know numerous people at TCU.

I think it’s already happened. As in it happened earlier in the season. Apparently maineri let everyone know at the beginning of the season he was leaving.
You don’t think they started making phone calls then and don’t have a verbal agreement with someone ?

To say Schloss wouldn't leave TCU is patently false. The inequity in baseball schollies is real.
There are 2 components:
1. Certain private schools can provide additional schollie money.
2. Certain schools use academic scholarship funds for badeball; some do not.

Jimbo Fisher - clashed with boosters and admins who wouldn’t give him the resources he wanted
Chris Peterson - moved from G5 to major P5 school
Who said these guys were too rooted to move?

Coaches leave for all kinds of reasons. Our unbeatable Track coach left because of lack of fan support.
It’s generally common knowledge that UF fans aren’t huge into baseball just as it is known that LSU fan attendance is unrivaled.
KOS might want more support (although their new stadium is very nice). It wouldn’t be unprecedented for a coach to leave for an organization that’s sells out for the team literally and figuratively.
LSU is still in a league of very few in terms of baseball prestige even if several schools have caught up on facilities.
