Its not just the journalists there is a lot of people just on this website throwing out a ton of shite at Jefferson. This place has been pretty embarrassing for a few days now.

Jefferson allegedly kicked someone in the head and doesn't appear to have caused any permanent damage. So his image isn't any more irreparable then it was prior to this incident.

Not sure if serious.
I don't know what you were watching. All I saw was him walking out drinking a bottle of water and getting into a truck.
You saw what you wanted to see.
I honestly can't wait for the kid to graduate at this point--for his sake. When people who are supposed to be supporters hate him enough to judge the way he looked leaving a police interview, it might be time to move on.
One thing's for sure, this incident has really brought the dynamics of this site and this fanbase into specific relief. I know which posters I can reflexively ignore. They should have covered themselves better with their alters.

Lesson to all young people. Nothing positive is out there at 2AM. If you have something to live for don't get caught being around a bunch of drunk idiots in the late hours of the night. Don't be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Don't put yourself in a situation you will regret. Stay home and be the only leader who stays in for curfew. The right thing is not always easy but it's easier than getting yourself in a mess like this.
You hit the nail on the head.If the rules are followed, the incident never occurs and the media and others have nothing to say or write about in regards to this story.Live and learn.Never should have happened.

I think that it's hyperbole to say that Jefferson's image is that damaged.
What I will say is that all the people that like to chime in with what people should and shouldn't have done and find fault with this or that behavior of others kind of remind me of Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker - both liked to drone on and on about the faults of others. In the long run, come to find out they were missing the plank in their own eyes looking for the splinters in other people's eyes.

Read his facebook fanpage. The USMC's recruiters should be more embarassed than this fricking board.

Agree completely.

Jordan's said some things in ways I wish he hadn't or just hadn't said at all, but he's also said and done things in ways you'd like your QB to conduct himself.
When one does as he should, it's expected, when he doesn't, well people take notice.

you must not have actually woken up with those things the next morning...
At 10:00pm they look like 2's and at 2:00am they look like 10's.

They're as bad as the Marines--except minus the racist remarks, which, BTW, could land everyone of them in hot water.

And they are paying the consequences of their choices.

Only problem with this statemtent is you totally ignore the fact that JJ brought this heat upon himself.
I havent been vicious towards him the way some others have and I wish no Ill-will towards him.. But I dont feel sorry for him in the least fricking bit.

I hope every one of us can finally agree on and take from this incident that your choices have consequences beyond what you can imagine.Even choices of what movie you choose to see can eventually have consequences on you.Do you fasten your seat belt or not;speed or follow the speed limit? The choices you make have consequences.Does that mean you will never make mistakes? No, we will probably all make mistakes. For every bad choice you make, it will probably take 10 good choices to help offset that bad choice.Like it or not that is the way life happens to be.So start today to think about the choices you make because they will have consequences both good and bad.The choice is up to each individual and one will have to accept and live with the consequences.I've tried to teach my kids that they don't have to be the best but they have to be the best person that they can be.That they will never be perfect but they should never lose the desire for perfection.I hope in the end nothing but positives are gained from this incident.

Yep. Our internet fans are sure showing their ugly side. And it's always special when it's towards our own players.

You haven't been vicious towards him? Wanting him to be kicked off the team isn't vicious or ill-willed?

We'll just disagree on this. You don't even know the truth about what happened yet you can say you don't feel sorry for him? He has one of the world's most dangerous military units threatening him all over the internet. Are you saying he deserves that right now?
