I understand the fear that he has never coached before.
But can you imagine him walking into a 5* RB recruit's home in New Orleans and say, "Hey; Joe Recruit Guy, I'm Jacob Hester."
Kid would be shaking hands with an LSU Legend.

I'm not saying he has to be black...I'm saying they need someone on staff who has the respect of the people at schools like St. Aug, McD 35, Karr, etc.

Ok. The one thing African American kids want is respect. It is a very obvious. And I still believe that the black kids would respect him; simply because he is a "baller" and had walked in their same shoes before.
Let's not forget he can tout he's an ex NFL player.

I agree with you and if Les feels confident in him I would be 100% behind the hire. His complete lack of experience makes it very doubtful though. Les usually like veteran guys.

Why not get Donald Trump to be running back coach? Because a running back coach is someone who is trying to make it. Trump and Hester are guys who have already made it. Get it.
