I just don't care or see how that is relevant to whether or not he is "welcome" back at lsu.
No one ever said he wasn't 'welcome'. Where do you even get your arguments from, are you making them up to argue with yourself?
quote:

what do you have to offer him that he needs this one more chance from you? does JR know you hold his fate in your e-hands? if not maybe you should tell him.
You are the one on here arguing that he does deserve another chance from LSU fans, not me. I don't care whether he gets one or not.
quote:

and yes saying that JR or anyone else selected by the raiders is the mark of a selfish player is just fricking retarded. Darren McFadden is selfish? Rolando McLain isn't a true athlete and has no desire to win? is the entire raider roster made of selfish "me first" players that only care about getting paid
It wasn't that it was a selfish move, it was stupid from a business standpoint, which as proven itself out. The organization was shite, and he set himself up for failure by attaching himself to it. Yes he 'got paid', but if that is your only measure of success, then you are shallow human being.
quote:

really I'm curious how much of a fricking moron you are.
You're proving to be the bigger moron because you are arguing with yourself by making up scenarios which no one ever suggested, putting them on others, and then arguing the points as if you won the argument. You didn't.

you didn't say anything about a business perspective you said 'a true athlete and competitor who wants to win would not hitch their wagon to the raider organization' and that 'only a fool' would do such a thing. i'm asking you if darren mcfadden, rolando mclain, Nnamdi Asomugha, etc are fools and not true athletes and competitors. yes or no? is it just a "money grab" (your dumb arse words again) for them too?

this thread alone (though there are plenty of JR threads to pick from) "worthless turd" "don't need him close to the program". i know you didn't post those items; my only back and forth with you is these ridiculous statements that leaving LSU early was a "money grab" and 'no true athlete or competitor would allow themselves to be drafted by the raiders'. these statements are bordering on insane.

all i've been saying (several times) is that what he did in the pros doesn't matter. a great LSU tiger is a great LSU tiger and isn't contingent on his success or failure in the NFL.

taking the money over a potential NC to go play with the freakin' Raiders, which everyone knew was a money grab.
Uh, most people with half a brain would have done that. CF fans usually give their NFL bound stars a pass on "leaving after junior year", especially when they're the freaking #1 pick overall.

doesn't even take half a brain to make that call.

Tiger n ATL's "pass" for JR is still under consideration and is waiting for JR to "show him" something before said pass is awarded.

I would agree, however, he was a horrible ambassador for the Tigers and a complete embarrassment since. You aren't going to win over many people showing up to your schools NCG wearing "Bama Boy" outfits on the sideline and every where else in between.

I think we can appreciate the things he did for our program while also recognizing he has shitty character issues that have made him the laughing stock of his profession.

agree mostly; i in no way am saying he's perfect and i don't recognize his problems.

maybe the farther away from his NFL failure we get the hate will lessen.
