The fact of the matter is however, Jordan has done more to deserve the starting job right now. I would say most understand that.

Maybe, but it's not like Jefferson has been heads and shoulders better than Lee. Compare Jeff's first 2.5 games (OM, @Arky, GT) to Lee's first 2.5 games or so (2 halfs against Appy St and NT and @AU, MSU and the numbers are pretty similar. Heck, Lee even had a decent game @UF.

Says it all! You don't get many chances if the players ahead of you are good and get better!

Didn't he throw a pick-6 that game to Brandon Spikes?

Yeah but I still thought he had an ok game overall considering it was at the swamp and he was a frosh.

Remember JR's first game there?

The people that say that they don't want Lee to ever play QB at LSU again need to realize 2 things: 1) he was a freshman and 2) freshman usually get better (see: JR, Stafford, Manning etc.).

I am, I like Jefferson more than I like Lee. I'm just pointing out irrationalities of saying Jefferson >> Lee (he's not, not yet anyways) and saying that Lee is chopped liver.

Dude actually has a hose of an arm. That's not his problem. He telegraphs his passes, and throws into coverage. It's that simple.

He actually struggles by overthrowing the deep slant. You're right, it's not an issue of arm strength.

If Lee is the QB for LSU this year, then y'all best be able to run the ball. Here's why. He doesn't have the arm to make the 12 - 15 yard out from the far hash. Most SEC Db's will pick it unless there's a blown coverage. Therefore, the routes which a receiver(s) on the wide side of the field are restricted. SEC D coordinators will see this too.

If it wasn't for his arm strength, Lee would have sat behind Hatch/Jefferson all last year. Try again.

difference between Lee and Stafford is that Lee is at a school loaded at QB and probably won't get much of a chanc to redeem himself because of the talent, if he were at UGA he would be going into the season as there starting QB, his arm is just as strong as Staffords.

The kid had the career NCAA record for pick-6's in seven fricking games......

Pardon me for not wanting him to drive the car, but I equate that to Uncle Earl who's on his 5th DWI.

JJ has shown me MUCH more and if all you can see is ball security then that's still one helluva big difference.

Until proven otherwise, I'll keep my hopes on Jefferson.

Word to the wise hog. Stick to comments about things you know. Lee actually has an above-average arm. Arm-strength is probably his biggest asset. Try again.
