See Sam goes out looking for Racist stuff to post. Which proves my theory of his alluding to people bashing RP and praising JL because he's white. Most likely the guys saying don't bash a 20 year old kid refering to Lee were probably the same ones saying don't bash RP because he is a young man as well and not the ones praising Lee and bashing RP. All you jackasses laughing at the OP may, I say MAY be eating crow in a few years. Lee is a damned Sophomore for crying out loud who showed flashes of brilliance. It was just a fluke that the vast majority of his interceptions got returned for TDs. That won't happen again. He's got all the tools and plenty of room to improve and get better. Its not far fetched to say that he could become a better pro QB than those listed by the OP. Certainly not a lock by any means but its not out of the realm.

I personally am a basher. I bash everyone especially the QB because its fun and passes the time. I bash JL for throwing ints, I bash RP for thuggish behavior, I bash defensive ends who go out for punter during the arky game...it's why I come to the rant...thats to rant. There certainly have been statements made, but let's face it: when a QB is black they are more sensitive to any criticism. So, saying something like, "He is too dumb to read the defense" becomes racist for a black, but totally acceptable when said in reference to a white QB.

from what i've heard, lee is still throwing off his back foot in practice and scrimmages when facing defenders.
hence why he has looked great all spring and summer, but when he has to throw against a rushing defense, he reverts to old bad habits.
hence the 2 INTS in the scrimmage the other day.

Seriously, I'm not saying he won't throw picks but people forget that JaMarcus did the same thing, just didn't have all his returned for six. Give the kid time to grow. I'll eat my hat if he throws more than 2 pick sixes.

I see what you're saying but believe it or not, there is still a large population of LSU fans that think:
black qb = dumb / fast / athletic
white qb = smart / slow / heart

I'm not saying JL should start by any means but I think he can be a good qb in time. I went to the spring game and saw the same guy as last year he just is not ready IMO but does that mean he won't be later in the year? I don't know, like it or not he is #2 and if JJ gets hurt he will be our next option not RS.
