I appreciate the committment Lee made. Without him we at least lose the TN and UF games. We probably also lost the BAMA game. We would not have had anyone to make that crucial 3rd down pass that sealed the game after JJ was injured. I will always see him in the same light and on the same level as Mickey Guidry and Paul Lyons.

Every team needs a back up quarterback. Too bad only idiot LSU fans always think that ours should always transfer to what they think are greener pastures.
Correct. Like having one good pitcher on a baseball team. We will always need a backup if we want to play smashmouth football. That's the price you pay to be a tiger.

Although u jj suckers wont admit it Lee won 2 games for us last season. I thought he should have gotten to play in the bowl.

Lee is not transferring, anyone who thinks he is must be an idiot. He's so close to getting his degree from a fairly respected school where he's getting a GREAT free education. If Mett plays or JJ improves, we have a real shot at a crystal ball. Plus after all he's been through and stayed, I see no reason for him to transfer out in his last year.

He should stay. He's not going to be an NFL QB anyway, so what is going to a second tier school where he can play going to mean to him really? He's getting a good education for free, and if Mett doesn't pan out his first year, he will be called upon again more than likely.

What a dumb question!

Why would he transfer? You think he will be playing in the NFL?
I hope his expectations of himself are higher than most ranters.
Did you think Flynn would make an NFL roster?
Do you think Flynn would have made an NFL roster with four years of Crowton and then sitting the bench his last season watching JJ play QB?

Lee loves LSU and is so close with Clement i don't see him going anywhere.

If he stays there will come a point that the LSU Alumni will show their gratitude as they have for many others. Besides, even as a backup he just might walk off the field in a year with a championship ring.
1. Yes, Les sells the LSU alum job pipeline to prospects.
JL has done his part. He earned support and help.
2. He is still in position to come in and win games.
Maybe a big game in a championship season.

So I guess after spending 4 years at one school, he'll finally transfer to a 1AA school his last year so he MIGHT be able to play there. He might as well chill and enjoy the ride and get his degree.
Thank you! My feelings exactly, but these boards have done nothing to wish this young man would just leave.

This is his fourth year here. I believe he's graduating in May.

I hope his expectations of himself are higher than most ranters.

I just hope Lee hasn't given up on himself as so many on here have. Sure it's a long shot, but who can say for sure that Krag won't make something of him?
