Shouldn't we all be Miles supporters? I mean, he is the football coach and if we want the football team to be successful, as it has been, doesn't it follow that we want him to be successful as well?
Nick was a fine coach at LSU, but left us and moved on. Out side of Nick, who didn't want to be here for whatever reason, have we had a coach in our history that has had a more successful 5 yr period than Les? I don't think so. So, why shouldn't I support Miles?

If this works out, I will gladly take back everything and posts I've said about him.

Pretty sure Dorsey said that about Nevis, not Woods.
This. I actually think he said something like "Nevis was the future of LSU's D."

i am loving what i'm seeing from miles so far this spring. very intense coaching. he's always been passionate, but his enthusiasm seems as sincere as ever. i really believe he's coaching em up like never before.
jefferson being vocal is nice.. but nothing to be excited about.

Is this a fairweather fan convention? Yes, let's not support our head football coach. Let's root against him and Crowton so we can just get a new coaching staff in here and forget about giving a head coach with a national title under his belt the benefit of the doubt to let HIM do the coaching and getting the right personnel in to fix the problems.
Like someone mentioned, every positive is twisted into a negative, and every negative becomes a 20 page hate-fest on LSU football. You all are some pretty pathetic individuals.

Agreed. Starting this thread I had no intention of it turning into another coaching staff bash party.
I just wanted to talk about the changes in JJ as a QB and the overall more fired up feeling the team is giving out this spring.

I've heard that before, but as long as the man wins bout 80% of his games, has LSU nationally ranked 80% of the time, takes me to a bowl a 100% of the time, takes me to a couple BCS bowls, and wins me a BCS title I'll forgive a few sideline missteps or odd quotes.
Others can do as they wish.

you could start a thread about a new type of paint be discovered that would make the mid-field logo appear in 3-D and it would somehow turn into a coach bashing party.

That is probably the most accurate statement ever spoken. Dorsey was right on.

I'll believer it when I see it. JJ needs to prove himself or we are looking at another long season.

take things outa context a bit?
I dont want to hear RS who hasnt proved a damn thing yet hype up a qb who also hasnt proven shite.
I much prefer to see their play on the field relfect these words as I would listen to some bla bla bla in march about how much of a leader JJ has miracously become in 3 months time.
Has nothing to do with a hate fest.
Thanks for the lame attempt to spin it though.

No need to appologize. At least you're honest and not a bandwagon jumper. But at least try and be positive about the team you do support. After all, your teams program could resemble that of Michigan right now.

you are right.. however I choose to be realistic about things moreso than this blind opitimisim some here seem to feed off of.
Just me though.
