STFU. Jefferson deserves some criticism. You don't put up one of the worst QB outings in LSU history only to say in the post-game presser that you think you played pretty well. He doesn't rally the guys while he's on the sidelines and no one seems to respond to him when he's talking. That's not a good sign chemistry wise.

Yes, JJ isn't playing well. We all know that. But Senor, I don't think people talk badly about JJ because he is playing badly. It's his attitude. JJ needs to realize that when he makes comments like that, it hurts him as well as the team. Someone needs to make sure JJ keeps his mouth shut, so he doesn't look more like a brat than he already does.

JJ is that C student that always participates in class. He tries real hard but at the end of the day you're like, be quiet you make C's.

JEEBUS!!

You folks are insane. The season is half over. Better start enjoying it while you can.

LSU is 7-0, ranked #6 in the initial BCS, playing #4 in the BCS.....and you are whining like little girls.

Sheeeesh

The luck eventually runs out. Many of us would like to see LSU continue to win and feel that it will not happen with the dual QB system in place.

My apologies to the JJ lovers but through my purple tinted glasses I see Lee playing the role of Mauck and Flynn when we won National Championships. JJ turns the ball over, makes poor decisions, and if we lose to Auburn it will be because of JJs mistakes.

If all else fails...throw the OC under the bus...it appears this is what he is doing here....also i think he really believes because he scored a couple of touchdowns after being inserted inside the 10 that these drives count towards his production....Miles needs to tell him to sit down and lose his helmet

This is the Tiger Rant. It's where folks go to rant about the Tigers--even JJ.

No one wishes JJ ill. If they do, they are shite. I hope he plays great every time he steps on the field. But, so far, he hasn't.

So I decided to look at the last 3 games to see how the two QBs did drive by drive. The following are interesting stats I found:

Total Drives commanded:
JJ = 17
Lee = 16

Drives ending in Punts or Turnovers (Punts, 3 and outs):
JJ = 12 (8,3)
Lee = 5 (4,2)

Turnovers leading basically to opponent TDs:
JJ = 2 (-14 points)
Lee = 0

TD Drives:
JJ = 1 (83 yard run against UT)
Lee = 9

FG Drives:
JJ = 3
Lee = 0 (2 Jasper misses here)

Scoring Drives:
JJ = 4
Lee = 9

Points off drives:
JJ = 16
Lee = 62 (despite 2 missed FGs and missed XP)

Net Points from drives (accounting for opp. pts direclty off Turnovers):
JJ = +2
Lee = +62

Pretty damn ridiculous once you look at it. Also, while it should be noted that JJ got 2 rushing TDs on Lee's drives inside the 10 against UF, so he is definitely important.

In the end, the numbers are pretty straight forward.

Sorry, but this just bothers me. Jefferson here implies that the only reason Lee has led LSU to every single touchdown scored over the last two or three games is that he's had better plays called for him. Really?

And no, Jordan, I'm sorry - but you are not putting points on the board. You gained seven less yards of total offense last week against an FCS opponent than our punter. You're struggling, big time, and it sucks to see you struggle, but give credit where it's due.

Also, I see Lee patting Jefferson on the helmet when he's going in, and being supportive, and I don't see Jefferson doing that at all. Lee comes out, he's standing close to the sidelines, supporting Jefferson. When Jefferson comes out, he goes to the back and either sits on the bench or stands away from the sideline. The body language just doesn't evidence a mutual support between the two. That is bothersome to me, and combine with these quotes over the last couple of weeks, and it's troubling.

I hope Jefferson improves - but really wish he would give Lee more credit and support.

I too am sorry, but seems like Jefferson is at the top of his game. Jefferson will not get drafted in the NFL as a QB

While JJ has not had the perfect responses to the media, I am amazed at how worked up people seem to be against JJ. He is a competitor who has had some pretty significant success on the field and he, no doubt, believes he can do that again. It would be better if he could come across as more of a team player, but that might be too much to ask of a guy who was until recently told to be more of a leader (remember how quiet he used to be?). I say LAY OFF JJ. Everyone who follows college football understands that Lee has played better and deserves the vast majority of the snaps, but that is not for JJ to decide.

If JJ expects to be treated like a man then he has to start acting like one. Not admitting his mistakes is one thing but saying he isn't making any is another. Ripping your shirt off like Superman after you score in a drive when another man got you there is a sign of immaturity. Pouting on the sideline when you're not in the game is a sign of immaturity. This team belongs to Lee and our coaches have to see that.

IF you want to criticize JJ play thats fine, but don't talk about him as person. Unless you hangout with him on a day to day basis, and talk to him don't pretend to know how he feels, or what he is like.

HAs he played poorly, yes, but this BS expectation of him coming of the field and just being ok or looking happy that he got pulled is crazy. He is a junior, football is his life, and he losing his starting job. Frustration is a given. It is easier to sit quietly and wait your turn then to get pulled.
