I don't believe people are piling on JJ, I believe this would even be and issue if Miles would have treated Lee the same way he treated JJ when he came back.

If Miles would have continued to let Lee at least have two series of meaniful snaps in the remaining games with JJ getting the majority this would not be an issue. The fact Miles just sat Lee for JJ is what pissing people off. It would be a different story if JJ was head and shoulders better.

I really blame Miles a lot more than JJ, I actually like JJ playing, but I don't believe he deserves total control of the offense.

I'll side with the first 13-0 coach in LSU's history when it comes to our QB rotation.

im not kissing his arse. i was trying to figure out what he said since i cant view it on my phone, and here u are again bashing him.

i know ur mad, you think this dude is a thug cus of the whole bar fight thing.

Well lets see what you have to say ab mr mettenberger, sexual battery. a whole lot diff than somebody maybe getting in a bar fight. the dude is banned from a city in georgia.

just because you dont like him, doesnt mean you can spew bullshite. I defended Les Miles, chavis, stud, tm7, and yes lee, especially when people go overboard. i defend all these guys, cus they are tigers.

good thought.
I actually agree 100%.

thats the biggest problem I have.
JJ has proven over the course of 4 yrs he just isnt consistant enough to be the every down qb.
However LM doesnt seem to look at it that way.. goes to JL seemingly only when he forced to do so.

Ok, If JJ takes all the meaningful snaps against Bama, and the Tigers win the game...will you admit that Miles is right?

He took all the meaningful snaps vs uga... and we still won by what>> 40? so... Hard to say.
That is why LM has come out clean on this deal.. qb p lay (regardless who was playing) hasnt cost us a game.. rest of our team makes up for the mediocrity of this position.

Do you really believe if we win the game against Bama and JJ plays the whole game Miles is right? Last I checked this is a team sport!! That question could be asked if Lee played the whole game and we won.

Of course it's a team sport, but pretty much every position besides QB, there isn't much of a question who should be playing there.

If Lee played the whole game and we won, presumably that would be the head coach's decision, right?

What's your argument?

The difference is that if Lee plays meaningful snaps and helps us pull out a win against bama, then those defending JJ will be grateful and ecstatic we won.

But if JJ does the same against bama, then those who are criticizing his quotes and demeanor will still be miserable.

I couldn't give a damn about which of them plays QB, but remember how well JJ played in the Cotton Bowl?

I wonder why he excelled in THAT game....

Just my 2 cents.

JJ plays well @ times. I remember him playing in big games that we lost because LM would taken him out.

If it wasn't for JL we WOULD NOT BE 13-0.

If JJ plays the WHOLE GAME in the BCSCG we in trouble.

I don't understand WHAT JL did to get out of favor with LES.

I for one I'm looking Forward to next year because we will be even better and have 1 AWESOME QB' and maybe 2, to run a awesome offense.

Mettenberger will set alot of records in the next 2 years.

JJ did a great job in the interview, and I think if you give JJ some extra time to prepare it really helps him.

BTW- I really enjoyed Eric Reid's interview on that same page. He is going to be a huge leader. Well spoken and humble.

Sort of like JJ in the first half of GA game. Listen its Miles decision, I just don't understand why he doesn't rotate the qb's just like every other position on the team. It seems like he punishing Lee for being successful the first eight games. Tell me why?
