So determined to make excuses for Mcloser. Other coaches have been able to rebuild rosters and compete and excel in significantly less than 4 seasons. Just because Mcloser cant build a roster that can overcome an injury in 4 seasons doesn't mean it cant be done. It just means he cant do it. 17-53 says it all.
Brown had to build his team without portal or NIL which Mcloser has despite the fact that he is inept at using them. Do you seriously believe it takes nearly as long to rebuild now as it did in 78? I would submit that 4 years to build a roster now is the equivalent to 8 then. You can call me sanctimonious all you want but you are the one continually grasping at straws and making ridiculous excuses for your beloved Mcloser!
And in what place has Golden finished in the SEC the last 4 years and what place has Mcloser finished? Dale might have not been a great X and Os coach but he could coach circles around Mcloser. As far as Dale taking 7 years to build program it actually took 6 as the previous year he went 18-9 and narrowly missed a 32 team NCAA tournament and finished above .500 in the SEC something Mcloser has never done. Yea it took 6 years because he had to build from scratch without the portal or NIL which Mcloser has but never has figured out how to use correctly!
Once again Tigersbb during the 78-79 season preseason All American Durand Macklin broke his foot in the 2nd game and missed all season. Macklin was easily a bigger loss than Thomas and Reed combined. However instead of curling up into a fetal ball and rolling over like Mcloser Dale Brown led his team to an SEC title and a Sweet 16 appearance. Imagine that.
2023-2026 were in the midst of Matt Mcloser being the coach no team could overcome that handicap!
If majority means you, Mcpuffs Tiger, JimsTiger72 and Tigersbb then ok. I remember tons of 14-40s being posted.
Tarzan that's laughable maybe 10 people in the entire world thought LSU was going to NCAA tournament this year and Mcloser wasn't one of them!

Come on guys yall are being way too hard on Tigersbb. I mean according to him Dedan Thomas is at least as good as Magic Johnson and Reed is easily the equivalent of James Worthy. Would u have expected the Showtime Lakers to win without Magic and Worthy?????
Good memory but Andy Campbell didnt come in. The t on the floor in OT once the last starter Ethan Martin fouled out was Rick Mattick, Floyd Bailey, Ernie Brown Willie Sims and Jordy Hultberg.

Tigersbb is so far in denial. He cant stop defending his bf little Matty. His SEC record is 16-52 he sucks. Yes I know u think if he had no injuries he would be 52-16 but that is delusional. If Wokeward would have done a half arse interview he would have found that Mcloser has no personality would never connect with donors or bring enthusiasm to the program he is a cardboard cutout.
